I been looking a rust free fox for our next build. A roller or stock is what we want. The prices have gotten insane last few years. I think we are going to pick up a SN95 94-98 instead.

I've owned over a dozen fox bodies with all sorts of modifications to them and never had a problem handling any of them. It's driver error with these cars. It's like an old Honda 3 wheeler; perfectly safe if you know how to handle them.
You also got to remember that even though fox bodies are 30 plus years old now, they still out number most other car platforms at most drag racing events.

You do realize a supercharger is still forced induction and not NA as well right? Dragsters have been running around with superchargers for nearly 70 years and turbo chargers are also not a new thing both are pre WWII technology . Just coming off of sick week we are seeing street legal cars dipping into the 6s, I would have to check the math but I am fairly certain in order to get that kind of horsepower out of a NA engine it would literally be the size of a Volkswagen beetle , it would also get like 12 gallons to the mile.

I have been sitting here watching these programs and realize that on the front part of the vehicle there's a roll cage to save the engine from getting fully damaged this is a really brilliant idea I have never seen that before whoever came up with that brilliant idea is a Real Genius behind designing drag racing really happy that it has been really upgraded since these last past years

I raced 25yr under sponsorship and still race dirt and some asphalt so I’ve been around but I don’t get out playing dumb when I wreck. People wreck cars that are completely savable and then take it personal. I was taught when I was 5yrs old. All you should be thinking about is the next race nothing else. Your going to wreck it’s all about what you do about it. This is exactly why my 6 kids between 5-19yrs old. I started them all out on dirt to teach car control. A lot of these were preventable.

I notice that the largest percentage of those vehicles that have a "mishap' are the short wheelbase, Fox Bodied cars.

A 23 minute lesson on why it’s better to get out of it and lose a race, than try to be a hero and lose your car.
