Not my original idea - but having the OG trio come back for the HBO series and cameo as the three they polyjuiced to sneak into the ministry would be one of the greatest meta cameos of all time!
@@AdnanKhan-hl8yz I vehemently remember a video he did with Jessica or Tommy or someone else in the past where he just outright said that he doesn’t like the franchise.
I was always took the dancing scene as just two friends in an extremely dire situation taking a moment in all of this for them to have fun and relax. The one time for them to be happy, which is then immediately cut off by the radio static cutting in and then being brought back to reality. It’s honestly one of my favorite scenes in the franchise.
In the book, Hedwig was hit accidentally while she was in her cage… then the cage fell. In the film, I’m happy she was flying free, protecting her human.
Hermione's middle name was Jean in the books, too. JKR changed it before it was ever officially brought up in the books, it wasn't changed for the movie.
Am I the only one that can't watch the last 4 movies without getting emotional for the most part? The first 3 are cute, the 4th one is when things start getting serious, but the final 4 movies (3 books) and with all the real-life parallels (and also all the loss and deaths) always get me.
harry became the master of death the moment he disarmed malfoy. dumbledore meeting harry at the kingscross is not dumbledore being death and harry the youngest brother in the story. its the opposite, because dumbledore died and harry lives.
Im not a potter fan, never read the books myself. This series of videos has given me questions I asked readers about and, I'm kinda interested now. I like it but don't. Thanks for the great work NR!
I love this movie because of the hopelessness they feel and the disconnection to Hogwarts and each other. It doesn’t feel like a harry potter movie at points
One very important thing that needs to be mentioned is how Hagrid and Madamme Maxime have been out looking to find giants to join them and how they almost had one tribe on their side until a late night battle occurred and the leader was unalived by one of his tribe. It explains why Hagrid isn't at Hogwarts. Hagrid is very integral to the story, as is Madamme Maxime.
This one felt the most like Lord of the Rings, with the locket corrupting the Trio like the Ring corrupted Frodo. The Wii version of Deathly Hallows pt 1 was a fun foray into a different game genre.
20:25 Dumbledor didn't know Ron would leave. He knew Harry would leave in order to protect his friends from the dangers of hunting the horcoux. So when Harry does leave Ron can use the deluminator to find him
Lupin and Tonks having a baby DOES NOT enrage Harry. He is thrilled that there is more love in the world. What angers him is that Lupin would leave his wife and unborn baby because he was afraid that the baby would end up werewolf.
They're kids fighting a war. By the time they were found and chased through the woods, those kids were out surviving in the wild. They were not ready to stand ground and fight.
"That orange on the table was there to foreshadow the final battle between Harry and Voldemort because Voldemort's favorite fruit is an orange while Harry rather enjoys apples"
A good excuse why Harry couldn’t get the sword to come to him would’ve been the sword sensing the malice from the locket and refused to go to Harry cause of it
I've been rewatching every movie the friday before the breakdown came out. I'm 99% sure we saw a grindelow in that office? Was it when "Mad eye" was there? I remember it so vividly because it's the first time I ever noticed it

Just no 😂
No
@@J.Moon2187 honestly, I'd love this, though.
They aren’t doing that💀
It would be nice, but in the books, Runcorn is super tall, and Daniel Radcliffe is not
Lupin and Tonks having a baby didn’t enrage Harry. It was Remus offering to leave Tonks and the baby behind to join the trio on their mission.
im convinced he's never actually read the books because of how much hes got wrong. seems more like they have people to just look up the info.
Yea I agree
@AdnanKhan-hl8yz it's not a secret my dude... he credits his researchers and writers at the end of every video... you're not some master detective
@@XACTIC_Valouryes but he also says he HAS read the books when there argument is that he HAS NOT read them 🙄

you get it
In the book, Hedwig was hit accidentally while she was in her cage… then the cage fell. In the film, I’m happy she was flying free, protecting her human.
41:40 I never saw this as a romance scene when I watched it, always seemed to me as a moment where 2 friends tried to take their minds off a hard time
I was gonna say, I love that scene 😅
Yeah, I don’t really understand any of Erik’s criticisms here. I think the scene was perfectly fine.
Its my favorite scene out of the entire series for this reason.
Same, like a moment of respite from the war
It was harry trying to chear up hermione in because she’s been crying for days
17:06 Having Domhnall Gleeson report the death of Moody, played by his real-life father, feels extra rough.
Wow, I’ve watched these movies a million times and I’ve never seen Hedwig’s little celebration when Hagrid arrives.
Harry is enraged because Lupin suggests he joins the trio on the run and Harry tells him off for abadoning his unborn child.
Voldemort backed up his soul into external hard drives… 😂 This line killed me… 😂
I wish they kept those deleted scenes in.
"External Hor-Drives" that got me good!
"Here lies Dobby, a free elf." is the only thing from the movie that pulled on my heart strings.
How did I never notice Moodys eye on unbridges door! That’s so disturbing!!
10:51 "its actually quite a sexy walk" im DYING
12:46 Hermione had seen Sirius die in OOTP.
Not in the books.
We're in the endgame now, only one more of these to look forward too :(
The movies were obsessed with Hermione and the writers always gave Hermione Ron's moments and wanted Harry and Hermione to get together.
Facts ron in the books was amazing
Hermione's middle name was Jean in the books, too. JKR changed it before it was ever officially brought up in the books, it wasn't changed for the movie.
53:45 External Hordrives... 🤣
It’s also been theorized that each of the 3 brothers created one of the 3 unforgivable curses
Harry wasn’t upset that they were having a baby, it’s cus Lupin wanted to leave the baby to help Harry.
And he knew his father would not be down for that.
@ they get something wrong and every video
Been loving these videos
This is where the "Ron's been splinched" bit comes from ?
Yes
The most terrifying part of being on an invisible Thestral in an ambush would be when you suddenly see it after somebody takes a fall
Omg you’re right
4:52 that impression was impressive, honestly 😂
Love my Saturday morning Harry Potter breakdowns
53:02 *pushes up glasses* Um, it's "duellists"
1 minute ago. I can't believe I clicked this fast.
Love these retrospective deep dives, I look forward to them every week 👍
Thank you for coming to my Ted Tonks

I’ve never clicked so fast on a video! I’m so excited for part 2 breakdown 😊 thank you so much for this, Newrockstars 🥰
harry became the master of death the moment he disarmed malfoy. dumbledore meeting harry at the kingscross is not dumbledore being death and harry the youngest brother in the story. its the opposite, because dumbledore died and harry lives.
56:58 This part still hurts my heart every time 😭😭 when it first came out my friend said Bellatrix has got to go
Another banger to watch while I eat
Yasssss didn't have to wait till Monday
17:06 overthinking it. He's just feeling hole-y because he's got a hole in his head.
The chandelier drop could be a nod to “Phantom of the Opera”, since Donny tries to hurt Belatrix like, uh, well, the Phantom of the Opera, naturally.
Hedwig was the only loss in the whole series I was actually sad over
Just wanted to say I have absolutely loved this series ❤️
I love that in the theater I was watching when Bellatrix threw the knife someone yelled someone's getting hit
I always took the weird dance scene as them just being so run down, they had to fight the darkness off with a moment of joy, no matter how fleeting.
Fun fact i met percy Wesley's actor irl when he was preforming in a play
Been waiting for this yay!
Im not a potter fan, never read the books myself. This series of videos has given me questions I asked readers about and, I'm kinda interested now. I like it but don't. Thanks for the great work NR!
I THOUGHT HE SAID MONDAY! YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!
I love this movie because of the hopelessness they feel and the disconnection to Hogwarts and each other. It doesn’t feel like a harry potter movie at points
Love yall. Thanks for this series!
Finally arrived to my favorite movies of the series
Fun fact The River Lee Mentioned is the river that runs through my City in Cork in Ireland.
Anyone noticed a younger Regé Jean-Page 24:57 behind Hermione?
!!!!!!!
I’m so sad for this series to end soon!!!!
ANOTHER BANGER TO WATCH DURING EATING
57:27. Technically Dobby never actually agreed on not saving Harry's life again.
Can't wait for next week. Love from Addis aba, great series. Happy new year
Finally we get to my favorite movie in the series
Bim 65 years old and I love these books and movies

I did think Harry and Hermoine were more compatible, but hey it's a cool what if to consider
This one felt the most like Lord of the Rings, with the locket corrupting the Trio like the Ring corrupted Frodo.

Great way to start my morning

27 minutes ago?! I've been waiting all week for this
BABE WAKE UPPP...
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSS RON’S BEEN SPLINCHED!!!! 😂😂😂 Ariana did that line JUSTICE 😂👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I watched all the movies now I’m waiting on the review!
Right as I’m going to work Eric drops this welp wish me luck driving 😂❤
Yessir best series

DudeNo lol!! I love it backed up his soul on external Hordrives.
I could not move fast enough to click like😂😂😂😂
Only harry can hear the horcrux noise cause he is one. Any other person cant hear it even if they are wearing it only harry
I find it interesting that Cadmus Peverell brother who got the resurrection stone is the one who killed himself, perhaps implying he can't die.
BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
Yesssssss, finally we are in the endgame.... Only 1 left after this....
34:54 how is Umbridge pure evil but able to conjure patronus. Which only pure heart wizards can perform
Pure evil?
External Hordrives.... nice one lol
everybody parents are gonna be driven to the point of insanity at this point
I can't believe it's almost over already 🥲
Never clicked so fast ❤
Yes!! Let's go!
I could've sworn this was coming out Monday instead. An unexpected surprise, but a welcome one 😊
This is why I want more of the fantastic beats films Albus has the best backstory
31:49 and of course we would see David O'Hara as Fitz's father in the framework on Agents of SHIELD.
27:31 bat skeletons*
Was I wrong just assuming the voices don't change just for the audience's benefit?
They're kids fighting a war. By the time they were found and chased through the woods, those kids were out surviving in the wild. They were not ready to stand ground and fight.
16:31 could’ve sworn there was a grindylow in lupin’s office is PoA
"That orange on the table was there to foreshadow the final battle between Harry and Voldemort because Voldemort's favorite fruit is an orange while Harry rather enjoys apples"
A good excuse why Harry couldn’t get the sword to come to him would’ve been the sword sensing the malice from the locket and refused to go to Harry cause of it
Never clicked this fast...
27:31 those are bat skeletons. Not dragon figurines.
Thank you! Really got me when he said dragon figurines.
I always chicken out on watching the moment of Bathilda becoming Nagini and closed my eyes. Still haven't seen that particular moment ever.😂
😊 Thanks, thumbs up, have a great day.
Yes! But NOOOOOOOO the break downs are almost over 😢 I hate change…
Never been this early for a video ever ha ha!
Ginny in the films is as spicy as old pain mayo
6 mins ago? Hell yeah UA-cam, keep it up!
I've been rewatching every movie the friday before the breakdown came out. I'm 99% sure we saw a grindelow in that office?

Ahh! Such a relief, in such a blood sucking Life.
Thanks for the video at the best time for me.
