Wonderful race...amazing crowds...so sad to see what has happened in Italy and everywhere...hoping and praying for a return to normal for all of us who love life and 🚵♀️
I've tried to learn how these bikes races are conducted but I cannot for the life of me understand. It's not like a car race or a horse race; ther're a whole bunch of rules involved that don't make it easy to follow.
Really? I can't imagine many sports that are simpler than a bike race. Football, basketball... any team sports has many more rules than cycling that is just riding to the finish
You just need to watch and listen, listen a lot. In Italy we say "No one was born learned". It means everyone had to learn the rules starting from zero.
Try watching with someone who understands it. Actually it's not the rule that can be difficult to follow, after all it's a very simple sport where the fastest win. It's the tactics that sometimes confuse unfamiliarized viewer, especially in stage races, probably because not many sports having competitors aiming for various different rewards - only few of them targetting overall win - in one race.
So nice Giro d'italia 2019, I will remember ALWAYS, and so proud to be there and celebrate with Richard CARAPAZ the winner overall!!!

it must be something else to win ! just amazing.
Nice highlights
Vamos Richie...
I love Giro. 2019 edition was awesome and I believe Richard Carapaz will be better in the future.
bad music in background
Imagine not being able to fill an arena like that in Verona.
