I was also expecting some closure at the 30k climb, after all that tension going back n forth, suddenly we're on the last climb? Anyway, these summaries are still much better than any other year
@@miguelalonsogarrido4073 - The Vuelta for me. Even the flat stages aren't flat there, and the mountains are much more difficult in Spain than in Italy or France due to their ungodly %. But certainly the Giro is always up there. It's the Tour that's far more boring than the other two.
@@andrew7taylor that's true, la Vuelta brings as emotion every single day, but not for very long as most stages have only one hard climb. Spain has (some) climbs that are similar to the Alps in hidden places, but they just don't like that stuff.
Grande Richard! Una etapa para disfrutar del ciclismo con tu victoria. Mucha suerte hasta Verona. Seguro ganaras el giro 2019. Te apoyaremos hasta el final!
Roglic is ideally placed. It's up to Nibali, Majka and Landa to attack, attack and attack until he cracks. Or else, he will take the Pink Jersey back home. Yates is 100% out of the equation for the GC. But he's got to win a stage to avoid total embarrassment.
roglic clearly dont have good domestique/support around. time will tell whether he strong enough to withstand attack from other gc guys. so far still ok
@der Führer His TT has gotten really good this year. He tanked the second TT in this Giro though. I still think he lacks GT experience to win. Maybe next year
He was shaking and looked bad in the time trials. Something is not right with him. He didn't tire himself out early or anything like last time. He must have entered the Giro in bad shape already.
@@javorgeorgiev6130 I think he peaked on stage one, which is why he got such a good time and why he was terrible later on. He managed to get better today, but it won't stay consistent because he already peaked.
And he'll still lose time in the final TT... in order to be on the podium he'd have to pretty much make up almost a minute every single day from now on, to get close to Roglič with enough buffer for the time he'll lose in the TT - and that's practically impossible
Yates has to gain a solid 8 minutes on the mountains before the final itt to win. The only way that's happening is when roglic and nibali crack. Roglic may crack but trust me nibali will never break down completely. Yes I am a michelton Scott fan :(
I hope that the arroganz that both Nibali and Roglic show will be punished and neighter will win the Giro. They are clearly the strongest riders but I really hope Movistar can win it. They make the stages interesting and I hope they will be rewarded with the gc win for this.
@@roksraka9241 I think its arrogant of them to not take Carapaz seriously. They think its more important not to work for the other one than chasing after Movistar. They (probably rightly) assume that Carapaz wont be able to keep the jersey once they really try their best in the mountains and the time trial. I just hope Movistar continues to entertain us and maybe force Roglic and Nibali to really go to their limits.
Dudes they we're clearly just marking each other and conserving energy rather than going all out. Calm down roglic and nibali are clearly favourites. Add landa too if he touches his 2015 giro form he's one major contender.

maybe he wants to win it in style (on the last day) but yeah, it's doubtful at this point. there's 4 more days with an uphill finish or close to it, and the Gavia stage

Carapaz the madman
A Giro like no other, how many times the gc board has been shuffled? Good job guys. Stay safe.👍
This is one the most exciting tours in many years!
Giro this year is the best
Every year indeed
kinda altho the flat stages seemed as boring as usual

andrew7taylor Somehow the Vuelta doesn’t captivate me. Also not one rider makes the Vuelta it’s main goal, which also does not help the appeal.
Gracias Carapaz, ,,eres grande y humilde
Great work also from Caruso today he will be a great mate for Nibali in the next days.
Caruso was impressive

Keep up the good work/fun, love seeing what the TV never shows.
This is smart riding from Roglič. It pisses Nibali off, but he would do the same in this position. This is how you win a 3 week race.
Nibali rides like this 80% of the time!
Just wait what Majka Will do i next 6 days, in my oponions by the end he Will be in top 3 fingers crros
Amen
That Skip wasnt good dont Unserstand why Yates so dar away
David 77 he lost touch in the first Nibali attack which is seen, and you see him both lose contact and then not quite in contact when Lopez attacks.
wooow what a day it was!!
Good tactics ms
is not what you hear often
Yates rode a crazy stage
I so wanted him to win,but I sense weakness. I just hope that he recovers like how froome did last year.
I'd like to see him back in the race, light up the third week hopefully.

Stage 16 route was changed because of the god damn weather condition which i think the most important stage of the giro this year.
How the Giro was won
Vamos Landaa
Roschlick, we meet again.
Lets go movistar
probably needs to be 20-30mins for the highlights

7" gap hold on for a showdown in the mountains..
RoGlic no RoHlic
Majka the Best
Yates sandbagging in the first two weeks and is about to pull a froome....
I wish
I sincerely doubt it
He has proven he has talent, however he’s form isn’t consistent enough and he can’t peak like Froome.
