I watched Summerstorm on dvd recently and heard this beautiful moving song for the very first time, and I instantly fell in love with it. I don't know why, but it made me happy and sad...I became quite emotional and tearful 😢 I can't get enough of this song now.
5 years later i'm still listening to Nada surf and it reminds me of the days I thought I was having a hard time. If you're 14 , enjoy it, cause you think you have problems, but you don't. ☮♥
Cats and dogs are coming down 14th street is gonna drown Everyone else rushing round Ive got blonde on blonde On my portable stereo Its a lullabye From a giant golden radio Ive got no time i wanna lose To people with something to prove What can you do but let them walk And make your way down the block Ive got blonde on blonde On my portable stereo
Dude, that's Knoxville! Crazy coincidence that I live thousands of miles from there now, but was just thinking of all my friends back in TN as I listened to this song.

Wow. Can you believe some knucklehead Rob Mitchum from Pitchfork gave Let Go a score of 3.8/10 when it came out? ...Because he didn't like the lyrics of the chorus of Inside of Love, the fact that there's a song about someone listening to Blonde on Blonde, and that there's a song sung in French. He also apparently has a problem with artists giving songs titles that are verbatim to lyrics sung in the chorus? He essentially pleads for Nada Surf to retire and praises himself (self-proclaimed maker of big bucks) by warning us to steer clear of this bargin bin 90s alt-garbage. Not ever have I been more in disagreement with such a review. I wonder- if he decided to revisit this album today, would he have a different opinion? To me, Nada Surf is more relevant today than they ever were. In today's environment chock-full of butt-rock and overly dramatic yet hardly evocative pop and rap, Nada Surf is a familiar pop-rock but one that requires a little warming up to. Their music is often a jangled pop and their lyrics can be both simple and weird but are at the very least emotionally evocative.
Very well done. I really like the camera angles. Where was this made? Girl at the end rolling over and giving comfort gave me a tearful grin. Hope you boys make more stuff.
I remember going to listen to Bob Dylan s Blonde On Blonde after finding out the tittle of this song was apparently after that record. Man, what a bummer! That album at least musically, is very boring.

I can't get enough of this song now.
Same. I watched it back in 2008 when I was 16.
I love this song, it's also played in the 2004 movie Summerstorm (German: Sommersturm)

Derrick Reisdorf yeah, fuck that dude!
Fuck Pitchfork, in general. Most pretentious music "critics" ever. I'd like to see a single Pitchfork writer make one good record.
I agree. They gave the album such a mediocre undeserved rating. Great band, beautiful songwriting. Great album.
Nada Surf is pure magic! That guy was clearly more interested in stroking his ego rather than appreciating this beautiful album. 🎶🎶
I can't believe that, that sucks but yeah this song is pure magic
@mrdudebroman It was made in Knoxville, TN. I know because I used to live near there.
Just like me on the streets of life ;D
heard this in Starbucks, BAM, ID songed it.
Blonde on blonde oh hell yes ;)
You have a good

Very well done. I really like the camera angles. Where was this made? Girl at the end rolling over and giving comfort gave me a tearful grin. Hope you boys make more stuff.
when did this video come out?
Nice of them to name this after a Dylan album.
most starbucks' have a video where it tells you what song it is
What a lucky guy to get home and find his girl friend beside him in bed 😊😜
Ahhh didn’t realize how much baby driver ripped off (borrowed/was inspired by) in their opening sequence. this >.
@rajimen84 downtown Knoxville Tennessee!
..There is a person in the garbage dump?
wait a minute. This have nothing to do with Bob Dylan
He opens different door than he colses ^^
Lis 3000 list old video
List 1 to 3000 pixel
Each pixel has a number @google
how could u re-use that famous album title???!
It's partly an homage to Dylan.
Because Bob Dylan does not own the English language and artistic expression.
the album is called let go not blonde on blonde btw
+Cameron Garland Bob Dylan's album is titled Blonde on Blonde.
Derrick Reisdorf oh im well aware, but they didnt re-use the album title is what I meant
I remember going to listen to Bob Dylan s Blonde On Blonde after finding out the tittle of this song was apparently after that record. Man, what a bummer! That album at least musically, is very boring.
^^; What?
