I don't think so. You can work in these, but Ariat has a line of boots specific for "work" which include steel toe, and more. These are tough enough to work in, especially if you're ranching.

So they aren’t water proof and underneath the leather is a black background. First light brown then black. Stiff at first, hard on heal.
