Jefferson, Georgia - Driving Tour [4K]

Driving tour of Jefferson, Georgia on a very bright fall Sunday afternoon. The video starts just outside of town on the Jefferson Bypass and winds its way to the downtown area via Lee Street before proceeding along other local streets. The rest of the video is along Washington Street heading north to US 129 and finally ending on I-85 South.
Jefferson, located in Northeast Georgia, is 61 miles northeast of Atlanta via I-85 and 22 miles northwest of Athens via US 129. The town serves as the county seat of Jackson County and has an estimated population of 17,215 as of 2024. Though it is not officially part of Metro Atlanta, it is close enough to benefit from the close proximity of the amenities the metro area has to offer in addition to being a stone's throw away from Athens and Commerce.
