I moved to San Antonio from OC, CA a year ago and there’s no mountains it’s depressing for me. Moving to Phoenix in two weeks, after watching your video the beautiful blue skies reminds me so much of the Western living. Now I will be 5 hours away from visiting the parents in Cali. 🙏🏼
I love the epic sunsets here. And, the mountains create the most scenic landscape. It’s such a nice place to be. The fact it’s close to the Pacific Ocean is really nice too! Good luck with the move here!! If you need any assistance with a home purchase, you know how to find us!!
How did you like OC and do you recommend Irvin, Costa Mesa, Santa Ana? I'm in LA County and have been here way too long and hate it. But I go to OC once a year to explore.
@@adamc.7795 South Orange County is great. I’d definitely live there over LA County. Out of the three you mentioned, I would live in Irvine and Costa Mesa, but not Santa Ana. I like Irvine because it’s pretty much all brand new, everything is clean and kept up. Also, the schools are great.
People from California don’t realize how different it is once you leave the state. The further you get, the more you end up wanting to go back. Aside from the heat, I’d definitely say you’ll feel more at home in the Phoenix area than you do in San Antonio
@@donjuan914 what are the best places to live in phoenix?
Thank you very much for taking the time to put together this comprehensive video if Phoenix. Moving here 20 years ago from Paris was the best decision I made.
I just love seeing my hometown Tempe in videos like these and seeing how much people love it as much as I do
That blue sky...
thank you for all the efforts everyone
Thank you for watching!
Right through the stop sign at 6:08 LOL. Nice video thanks for the tour
Oooops. My bad 😬
Awesome video! Btw, State Farm is headquartered in Bloomington, IL not Tempe
The planes are playing “”chinito””😂😂😂
🤣
I was born in Phoenix and lived there 60 years and now I live in northern Arizona alot cooler here !
I love northern Arizona! All of it. Lol
Too cold I'm staying in Mesa! I'll send you a pair of mittens!!
I enjoyed this video a lot! I love the deserts of California close to Yuma.
But living in Phoenix I can still get to the rural side pretty quick
I would LOVE to live there........live in Florida (Tampa Bay area) and it’s a rainy flat swamp type atmosphere......will gladly trade it for mountains and desert. Will move there one day! 👍👍
Only if you vote Republican. Otherwise stay out !
MyMusic........I’m a fellow American and I’ll vote for whoever the best candidate is at the time.
@@PETER394100 I didn't mean to be rude but I am afraid we are already in the beginning stages of Arizona transforming to another California , Illinois or New York. That will be the end of Arizona. People move to escape from those states - their high taxes, high crime, high unemployment, high cost of living.. and bring their crap politics with them. The result is they turn the state they move to into the state they escaped from.
@@TrollMeister_ looking to move to Phoenix this year from Seattle area. We vote red and don’t feel heard here. Hoping there are more like us who want to keep AZ great

Love this video. You guys covered a lot of info! Moved to Phoenix from California four months ago, but I still haven’t explored the area much.
Please go back to Calif., we cant deal with any more Calif Pelosi/Democrap voters, you are destroying this state like you destroyed Calif!
Moving to Phoenix in August for college, so excited !!

I came to Phoenix in 2019 from my hometown of whacky Portland, OR. Love the weather, more NORMAL-minded peeps here and, funny-enough, how people drive compared to snails-pace SLOW in the left lane Portland. Plus I got sick of 9 months of rain lol. But I love the hiking and all the golf you could ever handle(more golf in this city than any other city IN THE WORLD)! One thing people not from here don’t realize, Phoenix is the 5th largest US City.
We're glad to know you are lovin' the hiking and the golf here! 🏌🏌
Good move!!
Im in SW Portland and im thinking of moving to phoenix, been here 5 years and am ready to relocate…
I’m from ny and need a new location and I’ve been hearing a lot about Arizona even took time to research and already convinced but this video just made the decision official lmao just a matter of when cause I already know what I gotta do to get there 😂

You missed Carefree area :) One of the best areas north, best views at least :)
Video suggestion: best types of cars:colors/makes etc. for the heat/road conditions/overall storm types you all have.
White/light color vehicles. Type of vehicle really depends on your lifestyle and what you need. You’ll see a lot of trucks and SUVs, but just as many luxury and muscle cars. Parking spaces are wide enough for big vehicles, gas isn’t pricey here so filling up doesn’t hurt.
@@livinginchandlerarizona7338 woo thanks!
Tucson native here. Don’t have leather seats and try to stay away from black. Remember that heat rises so two story buildings cost a lot more to keep cool. The pro to Arizona is that there’s not really any cons. You can acclimate to the heat. I’ve lived in Oklahoma,Kansas and Washington state. If you like being outside and grilling AZ is perfect. Idk why people cry about the heat. Literally most of the world is hot. For weather, we have loud thunder with rain during the monsoons and winter. It can get kinda dusty but realistically it’s sunny everyday with clear skies.
I love your videos! I am moving to Ocotillo in March. Do you have any videos that show Ocotillo in more detail?
Make sure your prepared to pay over 300 plus in your monthly electric bill during the summer.
From what i hear, that’s what people pay in many states the last couple of summers. 🤷♀️
We moving there next month on the six to look for work
I can get you a job 100% guaranteed in Phoenix/tolleson area starting at 15-17 an hr.. machine operator at duro bag/novolex warehouse.. It's located on 83rd ave and Washington...
I move down on the 29th Cant Wait
Not a BLM troublemaker are you
My wife and I lived in Phoenix for about a year and a half and I LOVED it. I would like to move back but right now we cannot afford it. When we are ready I know at least two things that would be deal breakers for us. 1 NO HOA! I see no reason to give my hard earned money to my neighbors so they can tell me what I can and can't do on or with my property, plus I have seen too many examples of HOAs becoming tyrannical. 2 Not a fan of the westside they are really bad drivers over there!
Jeesh it's beautiful 😍 makes Vegas look like dookie
Hilarious 😂
Amazing video! Thank you
Thanks for that feedback!! ♥ Please don't forget to like this video, subscribe and share this video!
Don't move here until you've spent time here in July-August. You are not prepared.
If you have an outdoor job, I'd agree. If you don't wok outside, it's better than being stuck in the cold blistery snow for months. You can at least go swimming at night, hit the move theaters, do all kind of things just north of Phoenix year-round.
120 c is no joke, make sure u have covered parking where u live

Thought I wanted to move to Texas... now Arizona is my top choice! But are there a lot of choices when it comes to new construction in these areas?
Yeah, we have tons of new construction and they are planning a lot more too. Lots of the developments are on a drawing system. Shoot us a text when you’re ready and we can jump on a zoom call and chat through the areas and what is going on!
Is it possible to find decent apartments under $800? I'm not looking for anything fancy. Just a place where I'm not likely to get murdered or robbed. 😅
would love to know that too as I am moving to Phoenix as well
Maybe if you get a studio in a genuinely shitty side of town. Your expectations gotta be very low, you will probably live though.

Can you help me out with living on one of the lakes in a house boat?? Thanks
we plan to purchase a home down there in about three years. Im retired
and my wife will retire in 3 years. We will be looking in the 300 to
350K range. We would love to live in a non HOA area if there is such a
thing. I subscribed and we will be in touch when we go down for a house
hunting vacation.I will be 65 and she will be 55, we will have a 200K
down payment. How hard would it be to get a mortgage at that age?
It’s hard to say what the market will be like in 3 years. Even the adult communities (usually lower price points) are getting over 300K already. 90+% of the homes here are in an HOA.
How bout Maricopa... Rancho El Dorado?
Stay tuned ... we’re working on new videos.
Can you speak to Phoenix’s future in regards to water use?
I live in New Mexico and recently took a vacation in Phoenix. Had a fun time but it was jarring to see the amount of greenery, lawn, fountains, golf courses, and sheer number of homes in Phoenix. Yes it’s beautiful, but it is obviously not sustainable.
Go directly to www.azwater.gov/, not the news. Lots of half-truths out there. Not denying it's an issue, it's just not what the news reports.
Hello! Me and my partner are moving to Arizona in September from Washington state
Super nervous but I’m thankful for your video having a hard time picking where to buy a house we have both never been!

Why are you moving here ? What is wrong with staying in WA state ?
@@TrollMeister_ just been here my whole life. I want more sun less rent and to be somewhere new.
How long would it take to drive to northern phoenix if I lived in the Chandler area?
Lots of variables (where in Chandler? where in North Phoenix?) but plan on an average commute of 45 minutes. If you were commuting for work during the traffic time, 1+ hour. I live in Chandler, North Phoenix is a jaunt for sure.

What about downtown Phoenix az are there any cheap places to rent
No
Been there done that! Bought two houses back in 2003 lived in Phoenix for 7yrs and moved back to CA, though I still do business in Az and also Ca. Prices went up in az, if you want the desert feel for the same price in Cali there's Murrieta temecula etc. Still conservative districts and closer to beaches of SD and OC. Loving my 72 degree summers :) but still have love for az maybe when I am ready to retire.
i spent three years living at the grand canyon for work. i want to relocate back to AZ but this time, phoenix. can you give me any advice on whether or not i should make the move january 2022 or sometime in the fall of 2021 before the snowbirds/tourists come for "winter?"
Don’t come here. We are full.
I'm just hearing positive, what are the negatives?
What state do you live in? I’ll be glad to do a video just for you. I❤️ When people make requests!
I share cons in all my videos
when you were standing on the cliff saying look at this place its huge lol, wouldn't any place on earth be huge from that view?
LOL
Is every house 500,000 to 1 million in Phoenix???
No, it isn't. :) Which is why people talk to us so we can narrow it down to their respective price points.
Living in AZ pros are small compared to the cons and do not be conned into living there do
some extensive research before making a committment to moving there. if you are not
prepared for living in an " extremely hot" place for 8 months of the year don't go.
better to freeze than fry. There is a price to pay mentally for trying to cope with living there
despite all the fun things to see, travel to sites in 4 state areas NM AZ Utah etc.
cost of living is not cheap electric and utilities constantly rise not to mention lake Mead
going down each year. schools really bad taught there for two years K-12 salaries
lowest in the nation. One big geriatric and sportsbar life style communities. One big
gigantic suburb like LA get used to traffic jams like LA. good luck. You can try to
keep your sanity by driving out of Phoenix each weekend but then you always have
to go back to the HEAT ... and we are talking ie SAUNA HEAT.... CHEERS
I’ll take dry Arizona heat than humid Louisiana heat any day
Moved here (Gold Canyon) 21 years ago after I retired from the AF. No desire to return to the east coast or anywhere else.
3 yrs I had enough. Heat, 100+ degrees 7mo of the year, traffic is horrible and the people here are complete pretentious a-holes.
I’ll take heat over the cold
Moving back here in June
does anybody have an idea of how the autism services are in Ariz. ?
family and i are considering moving down there, but i have a sister with autism, so we're trying to gather up info.
is there personal care assistance or an equivalent of that down there ? can relatives be p.c.a. / work as care-takers ?

I have driven by this place in Mid Town. Not sure of your sister's specific needs, but maybe they know of more resources: www.firstplaceaz.org
LIVING IN PHOENIX ARIZONA- why dont homes in arizona have much land? you guys have all the land in the world and put the homes so close together. if you look at raleigh nc or even austin people get land. can you at least make that suggesstion to builders?
There is actually quite a few homes that have land. It its a lot different than Texas though. You might be driving down the road and the left side could be a a subdivision and the right side could be acreage lots. It all depends exactly what you are looking for. Thats why we always say to reach out so we can understand your life style needs & wants and then we can point you in the right direction. However, builders will maximize all the space they have.
It’s not “we guys”. It’s home builders , private businesses and many from out of state, who buy land here and try to cram as many homes as they can in a given plot. That turns higher profits.
Sad thing about Az few have have nice yards Awsome thing about The North every house even the smallest ugliest have decent yards
With more than 40% of homes with pools, I’m not sure I’d agree with only a few yards in Arizona have nice backyards. I do think it is more challenging in the lower priced homes.
welcome to Honolulu thats all i have to say
I wish! LOL
hi pete again. i would like to watch your vid's as i was thinking about moving to phoenix, BUT they are too long for me. try a few at 5-10 min. max. i don't know if you would get more views, but i ask you to try it and see.

Lol you should show the bad sides of phoenix so people can prepare... like historic downtown Glendale where the court is, that's an area that used to be beautiful but is pretty over run by homeless and drug users.. the whole west valley is getting worse and worse while the areas you showed are just expanding to try and move further away from the "new" poorer communities
It's way too hot here, and there's so much traffic everywhere. I wouldn't recommend it.
9 months of great weather 3 months of hot (not at night), Love the heat too.

Best school district ind Phoenix
Overall the best school districts are in the northern half Scottsdale (not just North Scottsdale) and Chandler but there are a lot of schools rated 8-10 but the entire school district may not be.
The location they mention is not or hardly available for housing... most apartment are 4x the rent and hardly available... Every location they mention is totally over crowded and hardly availble in the housing and close to sun city witch is a town for only 55 and up...
Not at all.
ready jobs in Phoenix?
Intel just announced they’re $20B expansion, TSMC is building their $36B plant. Phoenix is slated to be the largest employment growth city in America over the next 10 years.
If I am mistaken, Lucid Motors is also planning to build a manufacturing facility there, too. Or somewhere in AZ.
My job offer is in Glendale... Any opinions??
What do need to know about Glendale I lived there 13 years in Glendale. I am in Phoenix now.
I am moving because of I seen 12:44 #trump sign, too tired of california
Welcome Trump voter. AZ is Trump country.
👍👍👍
Yea you can have it.Phoenux was my home for 40 years. Its now an extension of california. No thanks. Its ruined now.I left.
Completely agree . Snowbowl , Slide Rock and all those places including the surrounding lakes are now so crowded it is not even worth going . Moved here in 1985 and am now looking at departing for the East Coast. The heat Island here has gotten unbearable and those that did not live here 30 years ago and swelter in the growth will never know what they missed. This was once a very nice oasis in the desert. Now it is just another overcrowded metropolis and definitely in a tier one water shortage that can and will only get worse
Lived in north Phoenix (south and west of Desert Ridge area) all of my life. I am laughing because they definitely showcased the suburbs in the far north and other cities surrounding Phoenix proper. I was sheltered from “true” Phoenix until I went to ASU for school and had to drive through Bethany Home and Indian School when traffic was bad. Downtown Phoenix, Maryvale, and areas south of Bell/Greenway are starting to get sketchy. Meth addicts and homeless in downtown and the southern part of Glendale. Not desirable at all lol. Overall Good place to live, but as more people keep moving here, I’m concerned that we are becoming like Los Angeles. We also went blue in the last election which bothers me because now marijuana is legal and it is attracting riff raft to this state. I don’t want to be unfriendly but, I only want productive, tax-paying, law-abiding, conservative leaning people moving here. I’m also concerned about supporting so many people when we are constantly in a state of drought. 30 years from now how much will we be spending on water and electricity because of the sheer volume and demand? I’m considering buying land in an unnamed, rural area as my back up plan.
If anything legalizing marijuana actually benefits Phoenix and the state of Arizona as a whole. More tax dollars from sales and less tax dollars spent on jailing people for harmless weed charges. And I could argue that a person who works 9-5 and smokes weed at the end of the day is probably less stressed and happier while at work making them more productive. Also, why would you want to live in an echo chamber whether it's conservative or liberal? You already live in one of the most diverse cities in America so if you want that then just move southeast?
@@deafcon22 smoking marijuana also kills brain cells
