I've tried every method out there and heard a lot of criticism of Ballard but that tip about keeping the elbows facing down works every time. I've finally stayed with it after seeing Azinger use it (he was always one of my favorites). I employ a strong grip like him and have NEVER been better. Longer, WAY more accurate and much more consistent.
Faldo and Leadbetter showed this with the towel back in 1988. We had a junior lesson with Mark James in the summer of 1990 basically saying it was a load of bollocks. Even then at 11 years old i remember thinking.. i know who im going to listen to
can someone explain how I can regain my width if I stay that connected ? also I cannot even grip the club properly unless I come from underneath with my elbows down . are there any other links for elbows down , I must be doing something incorrectly
sambking: pass on what being a golfer? If you think Paul is giving bad advice you're a un-Athletic kook.... I was fortunate enough to watch Paul play during his prime I can promise you few hit it better than Paul..... add to that no one intimidated Paul not even the great Seve.... Paul was/is a bad ass you can be assured of that.
Paul, I think you are one of the best in the industry - I enjoy the way you explain and articulate complex aspects of the swing. Great Tip
page right out of Jimmy Ballards book...
