I’m a sophomore in college and when I was in high school, I was 5’5 and 125 pounds and wanted to gain weight. I gained weight by eating more in college. Eating more isn’t hard for me because I love to eat lol it’s just that for some reason I don’t gain much weight. If you want to gain more weight, I recommend just including more calories when you eat.

Trust me if i dont have at least one hot meal or a cup of something hot you get so filled with gas its hard to eat anything and when u do eat it either makes u sick or eat alot less and its just not a good feeling. So i get what she is going thru
Fullrusher it helped me maintain and curb some awful binge cycles but it eventually became too much work for me once school started. I put a tablespoon of honey in the drink and it taste soooo much better
@@gracielarodriguez5836 it doesn't matter how small they are. when I had an eating disorder, my lowest weight ever was 98 lbs and when I was put into an inpatient program, I was about 108. but I'm only 5'1 so that's technically not "that small". but with what I was doing to my body, it was making my organs shut down and I literally could have had a heart attack at any moment with all of my palpitations and problems because of the lack of nutrients. so yeah, she might now be the "smallest", but that doesn't mean she doesn't need help.

Sarah Atwood I’ve never heard that, I’ve always heard that on average women should eat ~2000 calories per day and men ~2500 (obviously factors like height are important in how many calories someone should consume on a daily basis) for example I’m 5’00 and weigh 50kg so to maintain my weight I need to consume around 1700 calories with the amount of exercise I’m doing at the moment, unless you’re super short and not doing much exercise 1300-1500cal is most likely insufficient (unless maybe you have a thyroid/metabolism problem which could effect how much you need obviously)
For a long time I was like, “I wonder what kind of cool/expensive contraption they use to shoot the food down the tube.” And then one day I realized that I’m dumb and it’s just a production assistant toddling on a ladder out of frame dumping food down a cheap plastic tube. 😭

As someone whos been on both ends of the scale and has never been at stable weight (highest weight 231lbs, lowest weight 76lbs) theyre both as bad as each other i hate them both as a skinny person i always wished to be bigger and as a bigger person i forgot what it was like and just wished to be skinner.
@@cookeeee1962 i used to believe that too, then when i started to starve and purge i realised just how deep a hole i dug for myself. Its awfull and i wouldnt wish it on anyone. U constantly feel sick and dizzy and nauseated when u stand up. You start to feel cold constantly even in the warmest of rooms. Your hair and teeth fall out and you look so sick and honestly repulsive but you become blind to it. You start to believe that if you just starve yourself a bit more then maybe the lack of fat will make up for the repulsive sickly look but it really doesnt. People start to stare and whisper about you the skinny unstable girl who should be locked up or worse put down. Not only that, the feeling of emptiness is addicting for a while but when its no longer eating away at the fat but the muscles and body tissues its painful. Its so unbelievably painful you just want everything to end. Thats when most people start to understand what theyre doing to themselves and try to get better but for most of them they keep on going starving and purging the little amount they ate, thats if the ate anything. Those are the ones who dont tend to make it, but when purging becomes your latest addiction and you purge even when u havent eaten, when ure hunched over a toilet writhing in pain because the constant vomitting has burnt the remaining bit of you oesophagus with nothing to show for it but the bloating of your stomach its hard to stop. Because to u the blotted flesh is fat, and its an obsession so u dedicate your last few remaining months if your lucky year to getting rid of it. But at this point is not about being skinny enough because u know youre skinny you know your repulsive but theres that little thought in the back of your head, if this bloating went, maybe id be pretty again so u starve and starve and starve you remaining month away while your family cries. Do u know how heart breaking it is to force your parents to have to say goodbye while your still alive coz while youre in that hospital bed they dont know if youll make it through the nigh. Thats when u wish that they didnt care about you, u wish they left like your friends did becausr they will, trust me, they wont stand around waiting for you to pick your shit up forever. U want you family to leave and forget about you so they dont hurt as much as you are, you hate yourself for it and unless u decide in that moment to get better, youre as good as dead., so say your goodbyes to your family. I know this is harsh but i just had to get my point across, if your having thaughts about starving yourself or wanting to be skinny either get into a healthy diet and lifestyle or talk to someone. Because thats how it starts out and once you start its near impossible to stop. Please dont make the same mistake i did there are people out there who not only love you but need you. What woukd they do if you died trying to fight a battle that was just to much for you. Please get the help you need and deserve.

So the lady they keep showing who is looking to “perfect her body” kind of annoys me. She is perpetuating the need to look absolutely perfect and that’s a problem. That and she doesn’t want to work for it, just looks for quick fixes. Seems to be contradicting what this show represents.
i think the purpose of her segment is to show the extent that some people will go for “perfect” bodies, and to showcase some of the procedures and operations it takes etc. i mean it’s a health/diet show in general, she’s done various shows like it, and i suppose, like i said, it’s just to show what some people are willing to do.

The superskinny's case wasn't as extreme as usual superskinny's but the supersize one's was extreme. C'mon,her BMI was at 40 point something,this is considered morbidly obese.
There's nothing wrong with her body. Some people are naturally skinny. The problem is that she doesn't eat the amount of food she needs and justify it saying that she doesn't have time to eat.

Sarah Atwood I’ve never heard that, I’ve always heard that on average women should eat ~2000 calories per day and men ~2500 (obviously factors like height are important in how many calories someone should consume on a daily basis) for example I’m 5’00 and weigh 50kg so to maintain my weight I need to consume around 1700 calories with the amount of exercise I’m doing at the moment, unless you’re super short and not doing much exercise 1300-1500cal is most likely insufficient (unless maybe you have a thyroid/metabolism problem which could effect how much you need obviously)

As someone whos been on both ends of the scale and has never been at stable weight (highest weight 231lbs, lowest weight 76lbs) theyre both as bad as each other i hate them both as a skinny person i always wished to be bigger and as a bigger person i forgot what it was like and just wished to be skinner.
Is there a phrase " You can never be too skinny or too rich." ? I tend to believe it.
@@cookeeee1962 i used to believe that too, then when i started to starve and purge i realised just how deep a hole i dug for myself. Its awfull and i wouldnt wish it on anyone. U constantly feel sick and dizzy and nauseated when u stand up. You start to feel cold constantly even in the warmest of rooms. Your hair and teeth fall out and you look so sick and honestly repulsive but you become blind to it. You start to believe that if you just starve yourself a bit more then maybe the lack of fat will make up for the repulsive sickly look but it really doesnt. People start to stare and whisper about you the skinny unstable girl who should be locked up or worse put down. Not only that, the feeling of emptiness is addicting for a while but when its no longer eating away at the fat but the muscles and body tissues its painful. Its so unbelievably painful you just want everything to end. Thats when most people start to understand what theyre doing to themselves and try to get better but for most of them they keep on going starving and purging the little amount they ate, thats if the ate anything. Those are the ones who dont tend to make it, but when purging becomes your latest addiction and you purge even when u havent eaten, when ure hunched over a toilet writhing in pain because the constant vomitting has burnt the remaining bit of you oesophagus with nothing to show for it but the bloating of your stomach its hard to stop. Because to u the blotted flesh is fat, and its an obsession so u dedicate your last few remaining months if your lucky year to getting rid of it. But at this point is not about being skinny enough because u know youre skinny you know your repulsive but theres that little thought in the back of your head, if this bloating went, maybe id be pretty again so u starve and starve and starve you remaining month away while your family cries. Do u know how heart breaking it is to force your parents to have to say goodbye while your still alive coz while youre in that hospital bed they dont know if youll make it through the nigh. Thats when u wish that they didnt care about you, u wish they left like your friends did becausr they will, trust me, they wont stand around waiting for you to pick your shit up forever. U want you family to leave and forget about you so they dont hurt as much as you are, you hate yourself for it and unless u decide in that moment to get better, youre as good as dead., so say your goodbyes to your family.
I know this is harsh but i just had to get my point across, if your having thaughts about starving yourself or wanting to be skinny either get into a healthy diet and lifestyle or talk to someone. Because thats how it starts out and once you start its near impossible to stop. Please dont make the same mistake i did there are people out there who not only love you but need you. What woukd they do if you died trying to fight a battle that was just to much for you. Please get the help you need and deserve.

i think the purpose of her segment is to show the extent that some people will go for “perfect” bodies, and to showcase some of the procedures and operations it takes etc. i mean it’s a health/diet show in general, she’s done various shows like it, and i suppose, like i said, it’s just to show what some people are willing to do.
