Thank you for this video. I had a company laptop with the 2 amber 4 white led error code, leading to no boot. Since working from home, i read the error was related to ram and to try reseat the memory. Not wanting to ruin anything, i used your video to ensure i did not do anything stupid. Now, it seems back up and i saved countless hours getting it back.
This Latitude has motherboard issue and was under free replacement while on Dell warranty , Even if u call Dell for random issue they went for free motherboard replacement, Windows will crash if u move the laptop fast or press the keyboard harder , but I identified issue after warranty finished, now have to pay for the entire repair 😢!!
Hi, i have a Dell Latitude 7480with a Micro RAM module of 16 GB 2400 MHz. I installed a Crucial 16 GB 3200 Module and they were working fine, but giving blue screen randomly. I Ran all the Laptop hardware tests several times, and apparently everything is fine, but no luck. Also tried leaving the Crucial module alone and also wired things randomly happened. I wonder if there is someone here that has managed to upgrade the ram. Thank ASkJai for his video and all off you for reading.
DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE ADDING REMOVING HARDWARE

Very helpful! Thank you!
Just to confirm for a friend. What's the max RAM the Latitude 7480 can take? Is it 16Gig?
Should be 32
Could you let me know the RAM configuration/model, I mean the FSB and type.
Crucial 32GB Kit (2 x 16GB) DDR4-2400 SODIMM
Thanks! That was really useful 🙃

would ddr4
3200mhz work in this model
Sorry for the delay. I think so but I would run a scan similar to uk.crucial.com/store/systemscanner#hero and it tells you exactly.
So we get 2 slot of ram but 1 option of storage slot?
