I started looking into Santeria yesterday after pondering the idea of initiating. I was a driver instructor a few years back and one of my students was Cuban Santeria. She told me about it and we spoke on interesting topics. On the last day, after she passed her road test (she had her saint in her purse), she told me that she sees a lady with a white vail protecting me. She told me this lady is very close to God and if I pray to God hell listen to me. She told me to light a white candle to honor the lady protecting me. I’ve never though about initiating until now. I’m reading into it and I want to learn. I’m catholic as well so I’m very interested in the catholic saints who were influenced by African Orishas
Get used to the vague answers. It so they can change the story at any time to match what you say you are going through s they have no idea of anything besides what you tell them . Then they use it to convince you that they know more about you. Open your mind but not to lies
Someone I knew told me that having a saint is beautiful. She spoke about the bond between them and it was a lovely relationship. Has anybody had this experience as well?

Do you think there is a negative contradiction between Catholics and Santeria? I hear people saying this religion is unfavorable to God
