Legendary singer, songwriter, musician, and producer Bob Gaudio is “In Conversation” with Frank Sinatra Enterprises President Charles Pignone discussing 'Watertown,' the concept album he conceived, composed, arranged and produced for Frank Sinatra.
Recorded at SiriusXM’s studio in Nashville, TN in April 2022, the “In Conversation” radio special is broadcast exclusively on Siriusly Sinatra (Channel 70), airing from May 22nd through June 2022 on SiriusXM.
Frank Sinatra’s newly-mixed and -remastered ‘Watertown’ is out now in three fabulous configurations: on vinyl, deluxe CD & deluxe digital to stream and download. His most underrated GEM....
I honestly love this album and keep introducing people to it. I've pre-ordered two copies of the 2022 rerelease, but I own earlier releases including the original LP which came in a gatefold album and included a wonderful poster of Sinatra. You know: because half a century ago, all the cool albums included posters. 🐧

I found one first ed closed edition on a market in Mexico.. it came with the poster and everything... when i openend and played it for the first time i was listening and viewing one of my fav records spinning...it was pure bliss.

Bob Gaudio… What a contribution to humanity. Out of his creations … that backdrop generated a whole lot of sweetness expressed publicly in America and Abroad. Don’t tell me your miles away from the fact that Life emulates art. Citizen’s reflect the arts they steep in. ❤️🩹 who can pull some more of this off now? I’m all in and able. And showcased here too. Listen through..
I fell in love with this album when i first played it in 1969---still do love it--it is such a quietly powerfully emotional album and Sinatra's voice and phrasing personified the spirit of the album precisely---it is an album intended for you to sit in your chair in a room alone and listen

Watertown and Genuine Imitation Life Gazette albums are two of my all time favorites. Two of the most played albums in my entire music collection, thank you Mr. Gaudio.

I get it. Ha. Yes and no mater what intricacies focused on and perfected about sounding like Frank . It falls SHORT no pun intended. I mean you either get what I’m pointing to or you never will. No kidding. It’s where Frank Came from about what he was telling us. Plus his timing . Ha. He sang in 5/4 as he pleased. Go try to copy his phrasing and it’s just that . A copy. Ha. And I love Shorts art. He’s reaches into your heart. Rudy
