Good and sound explanations of the principles. Demonstration and exemple shown might have required someone in better physical shape to go harder but all in all it is definitely a good demo and sound instructions. It is simply unfortunate that some people will see this as an exemple of what KM is.... In a sense I feel like this video was made as a refresher for students who are already familiar with the concept and principles. I would also bring into question the legitimacy of someone teaching me a system when they themselves are not in good physical shape. KM like all Martial Arts has component of the mind, body and soul. His components in regards to the mind/mindest and techniques is excellent. I cannot speak in regards to his spirit has I dont know the person myself, but I can say the body respect component was not present... Does that reflect on the spirit of hardness and sacrifices to attain a goal? I can't say, his journey is not mine. I shall subscribe and definitely will be posting more comments on this channel. As per my experience, Karate from 4 years old until 13, Kung Fu for about a year when 16 and KM from 24 years old on and off until presently at 34. KM wise training has been done with IKMF as well as Jean-Paul Jauffret and Meghan Kaddoush's new organisation called T3. Really liked the video and the proper demo of this principle and concept. I am looking forward to more of this. Thank you PS- When using the KM clinch, it is important to offer students the option of headbutts as well. Might not be a weapon people are used to using but is highly effective and I know the curriculum does offer details on how to properly and safely (for the one throwing it) throw a headbutt. It's dirty, it's bloody but it will definitely get the job done in softening the person you have in a clinch. Headbutt and Knees to tenderize the meat
Exactly pressure testing is is essential for becoming a great fighter that’s one of the things that Krav Maga teaches that traditional fighting classes like boxing don’t really teach some other things that it teaches that other classes don’t really teach is dirty blows and weapons handling which they teach in kali as it’s only thing but with Krav Maga you get the aggregate of everything like mma including things they don’t really teach in traditional fighting classes that’s why I like it so much, by itself someone would be a pretty formidable fighter but too excel in proficiency I’d recommend mma atleest for a half an hour or an hour to increase fighting proficiency and strengthen the foundation of Krav Maga as mma and still get all the teachings from Krav Maga based on real life situations giving your fighting skills some context and practice on how to deal with real life situations.
@@revariox189 true but a lot of places only show off techniques with a cooperative opponent and never do pressure testing or even sparring for practice and in my opinion if they don’t do those it’s garbage
@@aliasalias9768 I absolutely agree. I am sure my other comment on this video mentions it or something similar. I was just ensuring no one would mistake the present video for pressure testing lol. Its very clear and sound explanation of an important principle and they were pretty much being physical just for the sake of the exemple. Excellent video nevertheless.
Great content and it was presented in a very entertaining and easy to follow way.

What would I have done? Not get into a fight with Nate.
Actually one thing that is great about Krav Maga is that it addresses these scenarios.
I only ever verbally fight Nate lol!

THIS was not pressure testing. This was showing very basic of the concept.
