- Robert and James, the two sons of Australian music icon John Farnham have given an update about his health ahead of the world premiere of the documentary film about his career.
Farnham's family have confirmed that the singer has made a "full recovery" from a chest infection that sent him to hospital, several months after the 73-year-old underwent a marathon 12-hour surgery to remove mouth cancer.
The new documentary 'John Farnham: Finding The Voice', chronicles his career from being teen heartthrob Johnny Farnham to becoming Australia's King of Pop

Wonderful interview with Robert and James. Wow and John’s never watched interviews or anything about himself. Now there’s a real humble man with no big ego.
I think he might be like most people and just doesn't like the way he sounds or looks on film
Absolute gentlemen just like their dad. Wishing John all the best ❤
I was shocked many years ago before the Whispering Jack album came out when John said he and his family were short of money to the point where they didn't have enough money to even go to Macca's.
Such lovely boys with a lovely Mum and Dad. Sending lots of love your way John. Can't wait to see the movie xo🥰💙
Johns sons seem to be just like him.Humble and really nice guys. All the best to John ,sending love and healing energy to him and his family.❤️🙏
I have just finished reading John's biography: "Playing to Win".
Terrific read...well worth it and lots in there i didn't know. We Aussies can be very proud of him👍😊
What is clear though is that John IS a fighter and very tenacious.
He has this on his side to battle his cancer, along with the love of his very close-knit family.

I stood in front of your dad when he brought Sadie out and loved him and his music you have a great mum and dad i send love prayers to you all and John thankyou for your music I danced with the master apprentice too
I met John for the first time when he was performing at the Doncaster shopping centre in Melbourne, it must have been 1980. He was singing all the early favourites like Sadie the cleaning lady, raindrops etc. I was Nine years old and he was 22 I think. I fell in love with him, and have followed his career ever since. Such a wonderful chap, entertainer, singer and Aussie icon. Wishing you a complete recovery John with peace and happiness to follow🙏🏻🥰
His sons have been doing a great job promoting this. They’re obviously super proud.
Saw the movie yesterday 28/5/23. It is a great movie and i would recommend everyone get of your back side and go and see it. Dont forget to take a tissue with you, i choked back a tear or 2. Loved it, all the best to John and his family.

So happy to hear John is on the mend 🎉 I’ve loved John since I was 11 years old ! I’m now 66 , unfortunately I never got to any of his concerts however I have all his Albums ❤ I also have his autograph that my late Mum got for me when he performed at Shellharbour NSW when I was madly in love with him . ❤❤❤
I saw John when I was a teenager in the warrata parade in Brisbane. What an amazing entertainer. Love how he performed in Timor Leste. Love you John 😘😘😘
Wish John will . I have grown up watching John singing all my live..
Get Well Soon John, his Sons are just as humble as he is, I Wish Him a Full Recovery from this horrible disease, You have just about All of Australians Praying and Sending Healing Vibes Your Way, can’t wait to see the movie. 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️ Beautiful Boys with a Beautiful Heart for they’re Dad. Aussie Legends' kids - "We're a bit proud of our dad." Best Aussie comment ever. Get well soon John!
John is a real Aussie with a fantastic sense of humour I remember he use to have dinner in the Nar Nar Goon hotel sometimes in the olden days I think some relatives use to live around this area I wish you all the best and your family you know we'll still love you very much ❤
ABSOLUTE LEGEND, THANK YOU FOR YOUR TALENT ALWAYS DEAR MAN
I was a teenager in the 80s and 16 when Whispering Jack came out. Its hard to imagine now that he was pretty much a joke until that album came out. The album was revolutionary for him.
Talk about like father like sons. Fame has not gone to any heads in this family. I hope and prey your dad recovers soon..All the best John
John is so beautiful voice awesome ❤ guy such a legend 💓 just amazing 🤩 i hope john is a little better well wishes for all the family ❤

Loved this movie , what a legend ❤
Fabulous ! Go see it, you will ❤ it!
I honestly never knew john had kids 😮😮😮. Thinking of you John and the family ❤️❤️
Love John all the best to you and your family
Can’t wait have always loved John what a tribute to him John it’s so overdue but it’s here . Thinking of Jill and the family
I remember his birthday party (i think his 50th) and I think it was James who performed with his band as part of the concert with all John's friends. I wonder what happened to that band
It was his older son Robert, and his band, who sang at that concert
Which one had the blue hair at their dad's fiftieth? Very well spoken lads, speaks volumes about their parents.
Can’t wait thankyou
Jack has always been a straight up guy . Some of his "Friends" are a bit dubious But all I know since going to see him at Innaloo Rooftop Carpark and singing Sadie with him he planted great memories ...
😢not Johnny Farnham too!!!!
Love you Johnny!!!! ❤
Hi sons speak v well. He’d be proud I’m sure.
Absolute Legend. Having said that, i really want to know why no one has done a bio movie about the greatest singer Aus has ever produced, the greatest female singer ever, who went through so many trials in her life, Judith Durham.
🙏💌❣️
Nice boys - well done John.
Little River Band needs a movie also told by the original creators & artists. Best wishes to Farnham.
I like Johns music very much. Gosh every one is getting cancer
YOU ARE THE VOICE❤❤❤😂
👏🏻❤️
Learntnothing about how John is!
They haven't really told the public anything about
His health update ... the new update is John sings around the house and walks with a cane and no more cancer if your updating tell us something or tell us nothing ...
In cinemas? 😊
😢
❤
❤👏👏💯
Is John Farnham still alive
Yes, he is. His sons talk about his progress with his cancer battle in this interview
Who the heck is she ?really !
Angela Bishop OAM is an Australian reporter and television presenter who is currently a co-host and the entertainment presenter on Network 10's Studio 10.
She's ok. But she's not up to this delicate topic... A non intellectual interview
Don't knock our Angela she is a legend just like John ❤
@@josephineclayton3304 Unfortunately as with social media there's always a few sourpusses in every crowd.
@@josephineclayton3304 Did you get paid well for that comment?
I despise that saying
' it is what it is ' it is so f.....g flippant. IT DOESN'T NEED TO BE WHAT IT IS for effs sake. 😮😮😮
It's not flippant. It's an acknowledgement that some things we can't change. And actually, when you get cancer, you do need to accept that it is what it is, because there's nothing you can do to change the fact other than undergo treatment, which is obviously what's already happening in this case.
Please send me your address and I’ll express post a Snickers bar for you
It’s being realistic and accepting of a situation - that’s what it is.
I think his time is up very soon, face fact. The family have.
I know someone who knows him , he’s not great …
CONTROLLED !!
Be nice for the British man to return to his native country - just saying
Why? Just sayin'
@@whatthe3131 He is British - can you think of another reason?
Lovely blokes. Runs in the family. Much love.
Will there be a series of farewell movie tours to travel Australia & N.Z , I can't wait to go and see all of them.
How many BOOSTERS he had?
😢😢😢❤❤❤ A TRUE Aussie LEGEND.
