@@herberthestrada9975 Ryan campground is by reservation only. $20 per night. Can go to www.recreation.gov to reserve a site. Only 32 sites in the campground so limited availability. There are a few first come first serve campgrounds in Joshua tree so that is always an option.
@@stacky512a No. We take our Prius. The main road through Joshua tree is paved. Some of the campgrounds are dirt roads but are flat and easy to drive. That said, it may be a different story if there is some snow or rain. The dirt roads could get a bit muddy and harder to drive. There are also some roads in the park that are “off road” style and may require 4wd. Overall any car should suffice if you are just trying to get to your campground and site.
Love the boulders!!
How can I make a reservation at this campsite? Or is it first come, first served? Thanks.
