Watching this on Christmas we didn’t land any of these guys you mentioned except for Dallas Wilson, VBIII, Stubbs, but still ended up with a top ten recruiting class with a strong local recruiting imprint.
I live on the New Tampa/Wesley chapel border, which is 1 hour and 20 minutes from gville and zephrhills is 20 minutes closer…all of this dependent on how close you are from interstate, obviously but I’ve made this drive too many times to count 😜
I live about 10 min from Zephyrhills and an alum of Zephyrhills High School. He told coaches directly....you start to win you get back into the race Plain and simple....he will most likely be at the Miami game week one with us...if we take care of business I think we will be odds in favorite to land him. Hey loves UF and loves the gameday atmosphere. He was almost ready to pop after the Tennessee game...thats how close he is swayed by the UF energy and love The kid is the real deal and HONESTLY he is actually beyter at WR than at Safety....TBH I watched him every game at my alma mater....he is an elite WR
If the receivers in this class are waiting to see how the Gators do this season, they'll get a chance to see DJ Lagway show out in his limited action, they can't help but taking a SERIOUS LOOK at UF. We gonna get at least a couple of 'em. Mark my words!
Breaking news: Florida's kickoff times and TV networks have been announced for - Mississippi State (Noon, ABC/ESPN) - UCF (6/7/8pm, Network TBD) - Tennessee (3:30/8, Network TBD) - Kentucky (3:30/8, Network TBD) - Texas (Noon, ESPN/ABC) -- LSU (3:30/8, Network TBD) - Ole Miss (Noon, ABC/ESPN) Florida State both time and network TBD
Playing close to home! Great school with VALUED degrees! Great guys to be around on the team! Winning! AND THE MONEY $$$! Unless you just want to be a GATOR like us. Modern recruiting short version above especially the $$
Fascinating to see how it's all gonna play out ! Coach Napier could be on the Ropes, getting pounded & rolling with the punches.... Instead of " Swinging for the Fences." 🤔
Napier's first Oline was very good. One of the best run blocking units in the natiin with one of the fewest QB sack numbers. Last year was tge outlier for Napier. And it all started with a 3 year starter at center being unable to play mord than a couple of games.
I agree. If “everyone wanted to play with an elite QB” as Allie said, JSmith would’ve committed with Lagway, less players would’ve de omitted this past December and Fla would be signing CCunnigham this class and other 5 star/Top 100 guys. Still time to see how latter plays out but I’m not so sure the lure of playing with Lagway is overtaking the genuine concerns of signing with Fla as a player. Concerns such as Napier’s poor game day coaching and odd play calling, Napiers job security, Napier’s sub .500 record so far and the toughest schedule in the country Thi season, the Jaden Rashada lawsuit, seeing Gator Collective fold etc. I’m rooting for Napier to turn all these things around but I don’t believe the salespitch of playing with Lagway is as strong as people proclaim. Hope I’m wrong
Most schools don’t sign a 5 star receiver. Billy has, however, signed 5-7 top 60 wr in the country, 3-4 top 10 TE in the country, and great rb…..let’s not pretend we aren’t stacking talent on the offensive side. The OL is/was the issue. That is now hopefully fixed going forward. Billy’s offense works just fine, like most, if every part is doing their part. Side note, BN has recruited more BlueChip players since Urban Meyer. Going off his two last classes, and using the other coaches best two, Meyer only comes in higher with his 06/10 classes. Stay healthy, and watch what happens this season.
Yup, I'm honestly surprised you guys didn't cut him loose after the mass-decommit that knocked Fla from #3 to #15 [or whatever it was]. Winning 5 games, and that loss to Arkansas at home due to Special Teams. Napier is done. Who's next?
Hey, Ali, I like your show but give Billy Napier a break. Why don’t you give him a lot of positive vibes to turn this around. We all want to win and last week looked great (except for the D). Many now successful coaches have taken 4-5 years to get their programs going. So ‘all kinds of weather’…let’s get positively behind Billy.

Great video as always Ali. However, Zhills is actually closer to 2 hours from Gainesville. Still not far. Hope we can land him.

Starting to see a trend. Even with the no.1 Qb out of HS, still no big time WR1 type wants to play in this offense 🤔

WRs want to play in a pass first offense, and that is not Billy’s offense.
@barrone71 I agree 💯. No one can convince me that top offensive players don't see what we see...an average product

@Fluffylife420 if thats what you are standing on, it should lead to wins, correct?
