On this vehicle no. On some you do. Typically the ones that have a more vertical glue line along the C pillar need to be cut first if your cutting from the back side of the glass. When they’re angled like this one they cut much easier.
@@mikesgarage4457 Yes. Once with power tools, a long knife & and push knife, and once with the WRD Bat. That said I’ve only had to pull 2 of the quarter glass so far and they were both before I started this channel. With power tools and knives they are a pain in the ass. With the Bat it’s a bit of a pain but doable because I mounted the Bat to the inside of the rear passenger door glass… yes the inside. It took some doing with guards not to burn the paint on the door and taping the glass so it doesn’t just drop on the ground.
Did you cut the door jam side urethane before using this tool?

@autoglass_help_line I tried a few times but was unsuccessful. That was when it was a new body style lol. Since then CCC listed it as one time use
