- I've been on the hunt for an Evo or Shovel for a few months. Well, we found one! I love these Harley Davidsons and I'm looking forward to learning more about the Evo platform. Everyone seems to love it. Never mind the oil on the exhaust in the photo! I had just checked it and forgot to wipe it off.

I still have my 1995 Springer Softail. It is my first and only Harley and it still runs great. It’s been very reliable with just regular maintenance. The best upgrade I’ve done is changed to a 6 speed transmission. Much lower rpm at speed on hwy.
Yeah I definitely miss my 6 gears when I’m on it

I rode my 87 evo home 110 miles. They just run well. Throw a couple gaskets at it too keep oil off the ground, and they're good.

I've never had to order a drain plug before, but I'm surprised the dealer doesn't have it in stock. Then again the bike is pushing 25

Oh that's a bit inconvenient. but could be worse I guess.
The back wheel being off to the side also is an indicator of the motor mounts being worn, which is also a contributor to the wobble.
In this case the motor mounts are new. The wobble was definitely do to improper torque. I have a whole other video coming soon of the fixes we’ve made so far. The axle nut wasn’t torqued at all. Just barely tight.
What a slick looking bike. Tennis Ball Green is a great look for this bike. I’m in love with it bro. Wow…what this bike needs is like a 280mm rear tire. Gotta fix that rear tire wobble
280!? Dang man that’s a monster. The wobble is gone now that I’ve aligned the chain properly and torqued the axle

The only mistake/my new worry is the new old bikes... is the stunt scene that these things went thru recently.
Also! Dont skip over the 3 hole change... youll be surprised the lack of yt videos showing how to do so on the non soft tail big twin
this guy definitely didn't stunt this one. There's not a mark on it. He had a 16 dyna that was his main bike. that one was clearly used
@UncleBogator good find! And good buy! I was looking at a "non stunted" dyna the other day... I think he ment, he never successfully stunted with it... blown forks and a front engine mount that had seen way way WAY better days!
The paint is high vis. Nothing wrong with that.

I got tired of my mixing valve contraption. For roofs i just batch mix. Simpler and more reliable for me. I'll x-jet driveways/patios.
I think I'd be ok batch mixing if I had more room for a dedicated batch mix container. My last few jobs I've needed both the pressure and softwash systems. If I had batch mixed, I wouldn't have had an effective downstream mix. But yeah, it's kind of a pain constantly troubleshooting.
@@UncleBogator @UncleBogator Get rid of that ibc tote? I run around with two 35 gallon drums. One full of straight bleach and one for batch mixing. I run my power washer off customer's house. Either way you do it, makes money my dude!
