Bernie Moreno's comments go right along with Vance's. I am over 50 and childless, but I still care about reproductive rights for ALL women. With guys like Moreno, Vance & Robinson, the gop continues to alarm women of all ages.
Alarm them? They want them to go back to the days when women were those picking the berries and cooking over wood.

Yep. I'm 48 and have two children with uteruses. An abortion saved my life when I started hemorrhaging in my second pregnancy. My youngest was born 11 months later. Neither of us would be here if my doctor had to get permission from her hospital's lawyers to save my life.

By the way, I am not poorer, more stressed, at more risk, etc., etc. than I was 4 years ago. This is really off topic but my son has been gone for 8 wks. I'm the one who found him. I've not slept hardly since. I see it when I try. He felt alone I think. His service was huge. So many people loved him and miss him. So many of us are grieving and struggling. I worry about his friends bc he lost a friend half a yr before the same way. Lots of times family and friends will after something like that. I just really want to say no matter how bad things get there will be moments worth experiencing. Talk to someone and if they don't want to listen talk to someone else if you're ever that low bc I guarantee you there are more people than you realize that will want you to. We're all saying that about my kid. If he'd just talked to us. If we'd have had any idea. I'm hurting in ways I never imagined but I will hang on bc I don't want anyone else to go through what I am. Depression is so hard. I've dealt with it and anxiety for years. So I understand, but I just want to give a little bit of my perspective from the other perspective. I think that people need to know that there can be better days or even just moments and most of us aren't as alone as we sometimes feel.

Oh, no! I hadn’t thought about that. Those will likely be illegal too! Women with multiple fibroids will have to suffer for years! Even if smaller fibroids could be removed to alienate pain and still allow the woman to get pregnant, doctors may be afraid to do the surgery. The women will still have to suffer until menopause.

In some countries, all eligible voters are automatically eligible without registration. The US system, which requires registration, seems more complicated.

In US, anyone can apply to get a job as a poll/ vote counting worker, which means it is possible that most vote worker are MAGA. It is a real plan by the MAGA supporter. They can essentially only count the vote that they want. But in Europe, vote worker are randomly selected, kind of like how selecting jury for jury duty in court.

Unplanned pregnancies are very common in women over 50. Fertility actually goes up, I’ve heard it described as the reproductive system throwing a going out of business sale and since pregnancies are riskier for all involved the older you are even menopausal women have skin in the game when it comes to abortion rights.

This is how my dad has an aunt his exact same age. My memaw Pearl was apparently super embarrassed having a child so late in life.
What frightens me is the gaggle of goons behind him laughing and their adoring looks. What is wrong with them? I have 6 granddaughters age 3 to 12. The thought of this ridicules example of a man being president gives me nightmares. I and millions of seniors shouldn't have to suffer this kind of trauma in our old age.

@@MaijaKarklins, I suggest Desi Lydic, Dulce Sloan, and Josh Johnson offer to host a presidential debate now! Put up some sort of tempting bait to get Trump to agree. Even if he suspects it will go badly for him, he would still underestimate just how badly. Would have to wait for Kamala Harris' confirmation until she can pick herself up off the floor gasping from laughing. Pay per view could wipe out the national debt. For that matter, I would like to see all political debates hosted by late night comedians.

I have been saying for years that only women should be able to vote on abortion issues. Nobody has much to say about that.
