Revisiting this 5 years later as the Cubs are playing like crap. Glad these moments were captured on video so we can always re-watch when the team sucks.
this is so cool! I didn't know they did this for them. I was a murphys bar the night of the parade and out of no where, fireworks just started going buck wild from the stadium!!! it wasn't like a few fireworks blowing up. it was a full blown grand finale type show. AWESOME! many don't know that happened unless you were looking out your window or partying in Wrigleyville
Zx10r Power yeah this was a long night for us at ORD. I was setting up barricades for construction on a runway when they won. Now, I'm a South sider and Sox fan but I was definitely happy for the Cubs and their fans. This was a cool thing to experience. I felt like I had to be here... Pay my respects
That was cool. Usually, they do that when the plane arrives, but this was better. Wow, 8 buses! (45-footers at that). Cubs must of had some entourage. They probably flew on a 777 from Cleveland (probably one of that plane's shortest flights)
Jeff Cummins and 5 years later you now have our most exciting player in Javy. I hope the Mets fans embrace him even when he can make you crazy (you’ll soon understand what I mean). He’s something special and, yes, he sometimes is “the magician”. I hope he has a magical career in New York
Matthew Reilly I know, what a disappointment. Sure hasn’t helped the Mets at all😒 I don’t think he’s going to do very well in free agency, his last 2 years have not been good. In Chicago we know what he is and we take the bad with the good but I don’t see another FO or fan base putting up with it. Still absolutely love him but I don’t have to pay his salary.

They gutted the Cubs, and the players that left really did nothing. Three of the four major players are now making less than the Cubs offered them at the trade deadline in 2021. Kris Bryant signed a new free-agent contract with the Colorado Rockies for less money than the Cubs offered him.
Ummmm no I am the one who killed the Billy goat curse. On Nov 27, 2015, I drove 630 miles from Naples, FL to Pensacola, FL. For dinner, I went to Mcguire's Irish pub in downtown Pensacola. Once there, I followed the traditional Moose Kissing for Good Luck. The next baseball season, the cubs won 108 games, the most since the cubs won the 1908 world series. And They won the world series. The only reason why the cubs haven't won a world series since is because I haven't made the trip to kiss the Mcguire's good luck moose. Moose beats goat.
