I’m Indian from California and I wasn’t into superstition but I’ve heard the black cat one very much growing up. Probably the most out of any one . Surprised that Daz brought up superstition and never heard that one before

Years ago saw Blair Witch Project w a buddy and it was fine. Different. It was annoying but also unique with the shaky hand held cam.
We go to a great local dive bar and my back is to the corner, facing the door. He is facing the corner. A place where we sat often, near the darts and real, old time jukebox. Apparently I keep looking over his shoulder and traffic moving in and out and at a stunningly gorgeous girl sitting at the bar. He starts to occasionally look behind him. I keep checking out the scenery on the stool.
Trent finally just snaps out of nowhere and somewhat yells *"STOP LOOKING OVER MY FUCKING SHOULDER! YOU'RE FREAKING ME OUT!!"* with his head on a swivel. ... this from the guy who used to drop acid and be just fine. A had to be there moment, I know... but still. Would've paid good coin to have a buddy come up behind and smack him on the back of the head like in the movie... 'cept not end him... just end his underwear maybe. 🤣
lol after I saw “Us” dir. by Peele ironically I had an hour long walk home in the pitch black w my friends. we were all completely silent and looking around everywhere 😂

Black cat crossing your path is a well known one where I'm from in Oklahoma. Also don't walk under ladders, break a mirror it's 7 yrs bad luck, don't open an umbrella indoors, if you spill salt throw some over your left shoulder to counteract the bad luck something like that I'm not sure. Don't step on a crack or you'll break your mothers back. Seeing an owl could be an omen that a loved one will die. I have a friend who believes that bc its happened to her at least twice. I think those things are fun but don't whole heartedly believe in them of course.
