Madtv was so much better than SNL. Glad you guys are finally checking it out. Alex Borstein, who voices Lois on Family Guy, was one of the long-time actors on the show.
My favorite K & P skit is ‘When Your Friend Goes Steampunk’. That one had me crying from laughing so hard.

The excuses the predators come up with are comedy. Like he obviously knows you said those things lol
The sketch portrayal of when the predators get caught is actually pretty accurate. A lot of em act like they didn’t do anything wrong or they think they’re still gonna somehow just walk out of there after getting caught. From what I hear on the news they often have to be put into solitary confinement because other inmates will attack them. Sick pervs and deviants like them don’t last long in the joint.

This show is incredibly diverse in the amount of controversial subjects it tackles with perfect humor. Where I live the age of 17 is legal in the USA

17 is "legal" in most states. It's actually only 16 in most states. I've always thought it was odd how the age of consent is so young in most states, yet you still can't legally smoke or drink. So backwards, but very telling. The age of consent should be 18.

Arguably you could say that it should be lower - though personally I agree on 18. In many European countries it is lower. Where I live it's 15, but we don't have more sexual assaults on minors or anything like that than US. And very few adults actually have sex with someone that young, I only saw it (obviously not the sex part) once, when I was in high school and my friend dated 2 guys in their 30's and 40's. She had a thing for older guys and liked sex. That's about it. Now almost 20 years later she is married with 2 children and is one of the few people I know that have very little trouble in life.
I'm not advocating sex with people so young, but here it's used more for couple who are for example 15 y.o girl and 16 y.o guy. And in US there might be a problem when one of them turns 18 and the other one is 17. Since one is an adult and the other is a minor in the eyes of the law. Yes I know that many states protect this kind of couples from prosecution, but if cops really want to be assholes and pin the person that is couple months older than the other - you know they might find a way to do so and get them on sex offender list. Which basically destroys life.
And just so you don't think it's completely depraved in here, there is another reason why very few older people (so like more than 5 years of age difference) have sex with underage people (specifically girls, because that's usually the issue, but Women preying on young boys also does happen - just not as often). Far higher standard for defense against sexual assault against people between ages of 15-17. If they say a person raped them, the defense has to prove their innocence, while usually in adult rape cases burden of proof is on the accuser. So that scares most people from doing it, unless for some reason they are actually dating.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think that's better or worse. It's just that I hate the Judicial idea of "Arbitrary Line" seeping into American culture where a person that is 1 day before their 18th birthday is considered "still just a kid, can't make choices for themselves, they need parents", but a day later if they want to take part in Gangbang it's "their choice". It feels weird and I only talk to Americans online. And they either think it is ridiculous or they think exactly like this. The latter mindset is scary.
And it is weird that ages of sexual consent, voting rights, drinking rights and medical consent are often different in many states of US. Which must be confusing.
@@jannegrey593 It is weird that you have to throw out a warning when even talking about the topic. I don't even like talking about it because people look at your weird. It's 16 in ALL of Canada and ALL of Europe. The average age of consent around the world is about 16. 18 is almost exclusively an American thing.
It really only comes into question when it becomes a huge age gap and then it seems (and often is) predatory.
@@anyaw340 The rest of the world disagrees with you. It should be 16 (it is) but I think if you're under a certain age, there should be a cap on the age difference. Huge difference between a 16yr old having sex with a 19 yr old vs a 30yr old.
My favorite from the mad TV days, was the gay Gangsters sketch. Shows the chemistry they had even back then.
Years ago I was on a department chat with some co-workers. I said "Hey Troy....Chris Hanson called....said he's very sorry and he's returning your jar of Vasoline and worn spatula". Our co-worker was a creepy, desperate-for-any-date single guy so everyone laughed. (But that was before people got all PC with such company jokes).

You should do some reactions to WKUK (Whitest Kids U Know). Especially since one of the creators/actors, Trevor Moore recently passed away. They were a funny sketch/improv comedy group during the 2000s n early 2010s. Some good skits to watch are The Grapist, How Lincoln Really Died, Call of Duty and Little Hitler
