Je vais pouvoir continuer mon voyage jusqu'à Reggio di Calabre. Que de souvenirs pour moi ! En 1967 et 1972, j'ai effectué en train le trajet Paris / Catane via Villa San Giovanni et le train sur un ferry, je ne sais pas comment ça se passe aujourd'hui. En tout cas merci pour ce petit bijou. Naturellement je visionne vos vidéos sur une 📺 4K et pas sur un simple smartphone ! Bonjour de Saint-Martin aux Antilles car c'est là que je réside 🌴. Vos vidéos traversent l'Atlantique ! ❤

Il seguito Taranto-Crotone è stato allo stesso modo un viaggio entusiasmante e mozzafiato specie alla massima velocità dei 130 km/h previsti per la D445. Fa specie però vedere molte stazioni vuote, deserte... Ricordo gli anni 70/80/90 le stazioni erano colmi di genti che viaggiava in treno. Con l'avvento e lo sviluppo del trasporto su gomma, purtroppo, certe linee ferroviarie hanno perso molto e la linea Taranto-Reggio Calabria non fa eccezione. Complimenti per il video, molto bello, da incanto...
Certo che, invece di pensare a costruire nuove opere, si pensasse a tenere efficienti quelle esistenti (vedi la rete ferroviaria) 🤔molte persone non abbandonerebbero il fantastico mondo della ferrovia, come questi fantastici video ci fanno vedere. 🚦🇮🇹👍
In molte regioni i pendolari aumentano di nuovo e il treno sta riguagnando terreno, la volontà è tutta politica. La gente il treno lo prende e lo vede come vettore di sviluppo, ma se la Regione non ha i soldi e soprattutto è invischiata (sì, non ci credo manco per il cazzo che le ndrine non li tengano per le palle) con la mafia più potente del mondo d'oggi, la 'ndrangheta, il risultato è un malgoverno diffuso a cui purtroppo non scampano le ferrovie regionali.
Ricordo un viaggio a bordo di un diretto Taranto-Reggio C. a settembre del 1997. D 445 e 4 fra carrozze tipo 1959, tipo 1946 di 1a ristrutturate e tipo X. Una ventina di passeggeri in totale. Ora è pure peggio (anche grazie a certe Regioni che finanziano le autolinee private a lunga percorrenza e non)

Very nice ride (and by the way: I didn't know that there was a river "Placeholder" in Calabria, but don't be too mad at me, it's actually funny), but your speedometer went completely mad. The next time you go, you should go overseas to Sicily, and film some of their lines like Messina - Palermo, Messina - Catania, Palermo - Catania, Palermo - Agrigento, Agrigento - Caltanissetta, Caltanissetta - Ragusa - Siracusa, Siracusa - Catania and maybe the whole circle on the west: Alcamo - Trapani - Marsala - Castelvetrano - Alcamo (if there's still passenger service on this one).

Grazie per questo video. Bellissimo e interesante "cab ride". Alcuni bei paesaggi, con sole, visti o intravisti. Citero tra 59.22 e 59.35 vista del perfetto blu azurro del Mare Jonico. A diferenza degli altri 2 video, qui almeno a Locri si vede un treno per Taranto. E vero che con i pochi passaggeri che.vediamo ė difficile per FS fare circolare più treni. Alle 2h18 si intravedeva all"orizzonte i primi contorni della Sicilia. Meteo più variabile che in altri "cab rides". Perque cambiare di treno a Gioiosa Jonico ? Complimenti per questi 3 video lungo il Mare Jonico più o meno visible.Sorge una demanda, ci "bagniamo i piedi" o preferiamo "terraferma"

@alexanderthielsch7370 Thank you for your comment. The speed data is extracted from the camera and is GPS based and can be very inaccurate. It might indicate a different speed than the actual speed. I always put this note in the description of the video.
Während du im Bahnhof gehalten hattest, zeigt es z.B. 98 km/h an und man denkt automatisch, dass du weiter gefahren bist, obwohl du - wie bereits erwähnt - im Bahnhof stehst. Das ist mir ab 2h 33min aufgefallen. 😊 Übrigens. Vielen Dank für deine schnelle Antwort. 😉

Passing along my house at 2.29.00. The line is shitty though. What good is a train that only stops four times a day at the station you depend on? And after 18.00 no trains at all.
@bcvanrijswijk I am aware of this problem. There are less passengers on trains because of that. It is happening also in Slovenia that the train journey is slower and more complicated than to go with a car.
@dicdicd1767 there is an intention to electrification the line, and it started years ago. There are ongoing works on the line for years, that is why the poles seems not recent.

Ora che sono al Computer scrivo meglio il mio commento: innanzitutto non sapevo che la parte alta di tale linea fosse così diritta permettendo velocità non indifferenti. Si vede poi benissimo il rinnovo della linea e la presenza di PALI T.E. per una futura elettrificazione. Per be bella la parte finale, in zone che conosco molto bene. Unico appunto la velocità GPS, che nella seconda metà del video, segna veramente velocità non reali, dove molto probabilmente c'è stato qualche problema di sincronizzazione fra sovrapposizione velocità e video

Reggio Calabria Taranto e viceversa fatta nel 1983 andando a militare ed era molto più trafficata, vedo che ancora non è stata elettrificata.

Very nice ride (and by the way: I didn't know that there was a river "Placeholder" in Calabria, but don't be too mad at me, it's actually funny), but your speedometer went completely mad. The next time you go, you should go overseas to Sicily, and film some of their lines like Messina - Palermo, Messina - Catania, Palermo - Catania, Palermo - Agrigento, Agrigento - Caltanissetta, Caltanissetta - Ragusa - Siracusa, Siracusa - Catania and maybe the whole circle on the west: Alcamo - Trapani - Marsala - Castelvetrano - Alcamo (if there's still passenger service on this one).

Grazie per questo video. Bellissimo e interesante "cab ride". Alcuni bei paesaggi, con sole, visti o intravisti. Citero tra 59.22 e 59.35 vista del perfetto blu azurro del Mare Jonico. A diferenza degli altri 2 video, qui almeno a Locri si vede un treno per Taranto. E vero che con i pochi passaggeri che.vediamo ė difficile per FS fare circolare più treni. Alle 2h18 si intravedeva all"orizzonte i primi contorni della Sicilia. Meteo più variabile che in altri "cab rides". Perque cambiare di treno a Gioiosa Jonico ? Complimenti per questi 3 video lungo il Mare Jonico più o meno visible.Sorge una demanda, ci "bagniamo i piedi" o preferiamo "terraferma"

Was mir auffällt ist, dass der Tacho nicht ganz richtig funktioniert. Du bist mitten in der Fahrt und der Tacho zeigt währenddessen 0 km/h. Schau zum Beispiel bei 2h 10min nach. 😉

@alexanderthielsch7370 Thank you for your comment. The speed data is extracted from the camera and is GPS based and can be very inaccurate. It might indicate a different speed than the actual speed. I always put this note in the description of the video.
Während du im Bahnhof gehalten hattest, zeigt es z.B. 98 km/h an und man denkt automatisch, dass du weiter gefahren bist, obwohl du - wie bereits erwähnt - im Bahnhof stehst.
Das ist mir ab 2h 33min aufgefallen. 😊

Passing along my house at 2.29.00. The line is shitty though. What good is a train that only stops four times a day at the station you depend on? And after 18.00 no trains at all.
@bcvanrijswijk I am aware of this problem. There are less passengers on trains because of that. It is happening also in Slovenia that the train journey is slower and more complicated than to go with a car.

Why it seems to have electric poles but there's no catenary. Is the line pending electrification? The poles seems not recent. Anyone knows?
@dicdicd1767 there is an intention to electrification the line, and it started years ago. There are ongoing works on the line for years, that is why the poles seems not recent.

Ora che sono al Computer scrivo meglio il mio commento: innanzitutto non sapevo che la parte alta di tale linea fosse così diritta permettendo velocità non indifferenti. Si vede poi benissimo il rinnovo della linea e la presenza di PALI T.E. per una futura elettrificazione. Per be bella la parte finale, in zone che conosco molto bene. Unico appunto la velocità GPS, che nella seconda metà del video, segna veramente velocità non reali, dove molto probabilmente c'è stato qualche problema di sincronizzazione fra sovrapposizione velocità e video
@audi2000it thank you for your comment. The GPS data are being captured together with the video, but due to bad connection sometimes I can not use them, sometimes there is just a part of the video with really inaccurate data...I am sorry for that.
