    Oh, I could watch these videos for hours and days. From single stems to a masterpiece of design…yum! Just when you think the arrangement to be perfect, Leanne adds color to the sides and perfection is achieved. Thank you! Chere

      What a perfect description of Leanne's design process, Chere! Thank you for sharing it with us and for watching our latest Saturday Showcase. It really is a fabulous blend of beautiful spring blooms that all come together in a single foam free floral design. We so enjoy reading your posts on our shows, and we hope you will continue to let us know what you think. It's a pleasure to host you here and we look forward to seeing you this week for Live as well. Hope things are well in VT - please take care and hope you are warm and snug!

      Yes, this is truly a favorite floral design and that's why we brought it back for our Saturday Showcase, Milly! It's foam free too and uses the magnolia branches as an armature to hold the other flowers in place. Thank you for taking the time to see this show and for letting us know what you think. We invite you to join us whenever you can and wish you the very best in all that you do!

    I like this because stores with foam are not close by. I want to create beautiful arrangements but was unsure of anchorage. Great ideas.😃

    Oooo did not know that about the Alum powder. Is this just regular old album? And does it have any effect on the other flowers and botanicals when you put it into the liquid? Beautiful floral arrangement! I don't prefer floral foam for lasting Arrangements because I like to pull out my stems and recut them and redo the liquid while rearranging the actual floral arrangement and throwing out anything that doesn't look good. I find I can keep arrangements and reducing the size of the vase as flowers go. Thank you for a great video

      Hello Galadeth and welcome to the Flower School channel! We're so glad you stopped by to say hello. Yes, alum powder helps hydrangeas drink more water so they will be beautiful and fresh. And it is the alum (a pickling spice) that you can buy at the supermarket in the spice section. It doesn't affect the other flowers at all, and that's good news. Your suggestion about periodically rearranging the design, replacing the water, and then moving it into a smaller vase as time goes on is brilliant and a wonderful way to make your flowers last and last. Thank you for watching our latest Saturday Showcase and we're so glad you took the time to post. Hopefully we'll see you again soon for more marvelous floral design, and wishing you the very best in all that you do!

    Splendid! Can I still use the alum for other flowers ?

    • @FlowerSchool
      @FlowerSchool  4 роки тому +1

      Great question Iman! Alum should be used only on hydrangea. For other flower we recommend using Quick Dip to aid in hydration. www.floraldesigninstitute.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_17&products_id=213
