In this video how-to demonstration Leanne creates a beautiful spring garden in the parallel design style. She begins the arrangement with budding magnolia branches and a base of foraged ivy and lily of the valley bush. Spray roses, lisianthus, tulips, carnations and eryngium complete the design. The arrangement is the essence of loveliness. This is another beautiful arrangement. Why should ivy not be used in Oregon? I am just being curious as we have no such restrictions in Scotland.
That's an excellent question, Isabel! In Oregon, ivy is declared an invasive species, and it is against the law to grow or sell it here. We know it is a popular plant in other places though.
