We're having our home built by Landsea in Groveland and after checking on it last week, drove East on 50 during the afternoon rush hour and we were like...this is not great. Glad to see that there are already lots of roads in various stages of completion- and love those roundabouts. One concern I have though, when you build roads that provide convenient connections, it inevitably leads to development all along those new roads, making what was once a quick connection, yet another busy road. But I'll look at this as the glass half full for now- at least there is lots of proactive planning going on. Thanks for the in depth information.

This is great to hear. We are on the south end. Would be great to have more options. I'm wondering when they will add public parks to South Clermont. There's no playgrounds and parks down here. We have to drive to Davenport or up to Paradise park.
Traffic on Hwy 50 is always a nightmare, whether it's rush hour or not. There are always slow pokes and people on their phones, which slows down traffic. There needs to be more police presence and I don't think it will matter what roads get built. It's too late; people move to Florida faster than they can build the roads. I live in Winter Garden, and I hate going out to Clermont for any reason.
Excellent news! There is so much education about Clermont, I watched more than once. This information makes me well educated and informed with many people that I come in contact with.

We plan to have more detailed updates in the future.We have great respect for the leaders in Groveland and their vision for the city's growth plan. It's unconfirmed but we heard a possible HWY 50 reroute around downtown Groveland. We'll keep you informed!
Any update on the area west of Clermont? Groveland is growing exponentially, I checked out and seems the city has a solid future growth plan, I would like to know a little more about roads going to and from Clermont to the west side

Do each of these new roads include a bike lane? Good planning. Nice to learn about these updates.
Several of the roads in both the Wellness Way project and Hills of Minneola project have bike trails included in new roadways.

Yada, Yada! Poor urban planning led us to this nightmare.
Where are the tram, light rail systems and buses is the bigger question? What Clermont needs is public transport.
