Now that you mention it, I realize now that the music itself has a lot of differences. This is especially obvious at 1:38 onwards. I guess the heartbeat is gone, too. Addition of synth elements and no choir. Very interesting...

I am from Iran and we had a revolution last year against islamic dictator led by women( 2:19 ).
That movement started after arresting and killing a young innocent woman named #MahsaAmini by the morality police ( 0:44 ).
Our protest slogan was "women, Life, Freedom" which is pronounced in Farsi "Zàn, Zendegi, Azadi" ( 1:08 low in background ).
Iran had a major revolution in 1979 which made islamic republic our forced government and since then this regime brought nothing but depression, damnation, annihilation and darkness for Iran and its people ( 2:03 ).

Don't know about blockades but euphoria it's a very difficult song to perform in a concert: it's frenetic and it has very high falsettos in the final part.
Matt can certainly sing it, but maybe he prefers to "save" his energy for other songs!
Blockades is my favourite song of that album. And yeah, I wish they would've performed that during the tour. 100% with you on that!

@@braxtonrichins Oh!! I think my son played it for me. I knew it sounded familiar. They should do all the soundtracks, them and Hans Zimmer. Nobody else is needed.

Well, they've had their songs used in movies (World War Z, Twilight...), but they haven't written a song specifically FOR a movie. The only exception being when Matt co-wrote the end title for The International. He's also scored music for the new 1984 Audible book. @@braxtonrichins

I have an amazing story. One day I was driving home, when all of a sudden the Lord came to me in spirit. I felt very close to Him. I knew if I asked him to play any song on the radio he would, I guess to bless my faith.
So I said "ok, Lord play "Come as you are by Nirvana".
I turned on the radio and the song started playing right there on the spot, perfectly…
I started getting flooded with chills like a waterfall, crying, and trembling.
He stayed with me for 10 minutes in my driveway. until I got outta the car.
A couple months after that I started getting amazing prayers answered way more often, because it helped me quit doubting when I pray and I was lined up with biblical instructions. It's 6 years later and I still get answered prayers in Jesus name.

It may be. When they performed it live (iirc, this was a year ago I saw them) the piano tone was a lot deeper, and the samples were different

That was so cool!!! I love how even after the tour there still posting interesting content. That Animation was amazing as well with so much detail.
