As a HongKonger, I've been thinking to visit this park too on a free weekend! As for good theme parks in the region, the Chimelong park in Zhuhai is also great with a different vibe, and in Hong Kong, Ocean Park is a very pretty theme park with a bunch of rides and many animals to see.
I didn’t think Hong Kong had another theme park other than Disney!
@@EoinandAisling Haha yeah it's the only other theme park in HK, and the theme park that most locals go to as it's bigger and considered more fun than Disney. Though in recent years they've been renovating and closed down a bunch of rides🤔 Still worth a visit though!

@@EoinandAisling Actually, Ocean Park in HK is actually much better theme park compared to Disney. I've enjoyed much there compared to HK Disney to be honest. This is coming from tourist from Philippines who visited HK and Macau. I even highly recommend to visit Ocean Park than Disney if you choose which between the two. I heard that Ocean Park in HK is going to expand. By the way, they have two franchise water park as well here in Philippines (Manila and Cebu) so if you'll visit PH, maybe you can check them out but HK Ocean Park is the best. :)

the local would like go to Zhuhai Changlong, but it's a little bit expensive.
Oh I didn’t even know there was one there! We visited Zhuhai too
you are right, there's not really any theme in it, just a park with some thrilling and cool rides. It's pretty expensive and hard to develop famouse IPs like Disney or Universal, but it's cheaper and could be more fun sometimes haha
Totally agree! It takes A LOT of money for Disney to look and feel like Disney, but these rides were great so that’s the main thing when it comes to a theme park

If you are a foreigner you better have a passport on you because china is taking no chances with cia, mi5, extremist, journalists, terrorists and separatists etc when the US and its allies are trying to contain china with every dirty tactics.

你们应该去珠海，试试长隆海洋王国，那是一个以海洋为主题的主题公园，既有海洋动物，也有刺激的游乐设施，有些过山车甚至直接深入到北极熊地区！
忘了说了，海洋王国的烟火秀绝对是最棒的！ 比迪士尼的更漂亮和壮观！

Very exciting and interesting entertainment, some equipment needs maintenance/repair. But it may also be that October-December is the off-season.
Yeah there’s a good chance it was due to the time of year why things were closed but still such a good day out
