Considering all the stray dogs in Thailand, it always surprises me how little dog mess there is. See more on some streets in the UK with so-called "responsible" owners! 🙄🙄🙄
I would be so nervous about getting on the ferry in a lot of places... Worst fear, going under and getting eaten by a Great White.... i would have to buy my own life preserver for those ferry trips lol

The tour groups aren't even there for the day. They go for lunch and enuff to take a bunch of selfies.... And gone

Hello…. Are there sand flies on this island like previous ones you’ve been to? Can’t think of the island name…cause looking to go where the sand flies / fleas aren’t…guess that’s a bit crazy since the beaches here in Central Queensland have giant biting flies, irricangi jelly fish and crocs ..and many sharks…just totally scared of sand flies/ fleas…cheers 🐨
There were none at this time. Coconut oil keeps them away
Koh samet is down on the list of islands along with koh larn ….overrun with tourists mindlessly wandering around
Depends on what beach you stay. Saikaew is definitely overrun

Went to Koh Samet multiple times back in the late 80'sand early 90's, always stayed on Wong Duean Beach, so quiet there, very few people. Imagine it's grown now..
Chilled ,relaxed ,on a beach in Thailand at night eating /drinking .This brought back so many memories of Chaweng beach Samui 2008 (First visit to Thailand)and watching a similar fire show 🌅Thank you 🙏

I haven’t traveled through Thailand anywhere as much as you but would love too. Where I have traveled this is always one of my favorite places to visit and relax after 3-4 days in Pattaya!

Definitely fun. A bit of a Tourist spot is good sometimes. A very good Hotel choice 👍🏻
All those guys in the shower were taking one .. the only hot one they'd be able to get. Have to agree the nicest sandy beaches anywhere in LOS. That evening meal was a treat great looking selection and yes the squid with Mitch looked great. You could do 1000s of steps along that beach and not get tired. Bushyboy Oz
I stayed in the same room last year. I met Lucas from "Ride for kickz" loved that place. There is a trail that takes you to the top of the mountain near the place you got dropped off. Highly recommend doing that hike. Thanks for sharing.
