I never understood why people are crazy about the Thar 3 doors but now I fall in love with this one, apart from it's name Roxx, this Thar really rocks in every practical sense.
But bro price little high Abhi toh 4×4 ke price aye bhi nahi (3 lakh) add kardo In practicality scorpio n make much more sense Plus interior color scheme dark rakhni cahiye thi because of it's off road purpose vehicle
Ppl who have lots of money and already have 2-3 cars in their garage are d ones crazy about thar... Not the 1st timers. However this car will definetly attarct 1st /2nd time car buyers.
1) Love your narration of the entire feeling of driving the vehicle, 2) The Explanation of features, the negatives along with the positives. 3) Am your follower now, 4) I'd ike to add my bit as a current Thar owner, I switched from an ML350 diesel and didnt buy a Merc again when I drove this. And I didnt have the heart to waste money buying an expensive car as the 10 year diesel car scrapping policy came in even for the super cars, which is unfair. I Changed the tyres to POR (RADAR) the thick rubber made my drive super smooth. As the CEAT ones I got only top model petrol, were worse than the ones used on my road cycle. Changed the Headlights to LED's The insulation is something I didnt add, but will add the sound dampeners to the doors this time surely. Glad to know the speaker system is changed as music is life for me. The bluetooth music / phone connectivity doesn't work in the 3 door for me despite repeated attempts by Mahindra, on software etc, so my bluetooth only connects 20 days out of 30 days in a month. So I have to listen to FM in those days. Kishore Da zindabad. The maximum mileage I got for my petrol, is 5.5 to 6 on 95 octane (regular use). Boot Space was a big concern as I keep my road cycle in my thar for my early morning cycling. Was a 2 door for all purposes. Hope I can fit my cycle in the boot space and use the rear seats for my family. Hoping to see your channel updates regularly. Love your comparing / narrating skills, you make it all sound engaging and interesting. thanks
Most sensible thar. 4*2 versions under 20L on road make great sense, it will definitely full fill dreams of many 30-40 yrs olds to own a thar, a thar that be used as a regular car to drop ur kids to school too.
But this type of suv are made for adventure. It's design for adventure. So, it won't give you comfortable ride quality like Xuv700, Harrier or other crossover SUVs. Even ScorpioN is more comfortable than this suv.
No one other than driver will enjoy the ride...😊.. so if only driver wants to enjoy why not the 3 door thar. Anyways back seat passengers going to puke in long distance.

For many young at heart Thar is aspirational & also the most desirable Lifestyle vehicle after Bullet 350 motorcycle. It's an accepted fact that people hardly don't bother about pricing for Lifestyle vehicles. Bus Vehicle Pasand aana chaiye. Now it's going to be slightly easier for the young buyers to convince parents now it has been offered doors at the rear for comfortable Ingress-Egress for seniors + bootspace to carry our luggage on long trips. Boss Thar Roxx will be blessings in disguise for many young affordable buyers. Buying a Car till date 90+% it's a family decision & since parents were unable to get in easily it was Rejected outright. No question asked unless you could convince them hard for 3 door THAR.
I think mahindra has nailed it this time. Good looks,practicality,power and good pricing too. This will definitely be another hotseller for mahindra. get ready for waiting period of 1 yr😂

Is the 4x2 capable enough to go to reasonably tough conditions like say upper himachal, ladakh etc. or light snow or slushy conditions? Given increasing restrictions on diesel and higher cost for 4x4, when should one consider it?
They way you started with middle row problems , it will kill many prospect buyers for family purpose.. Your one genuine reviewer who don't pamber manufacturer, but care about buyers. Yogi bhai, problem is they've given the 173bhp tune for only the 4x4 Diesels. Even the AX7L D AT comes with sadly the lower state of 15Xbhp state of tune. It's really discriminatory in spite of paying almost 25+ lakhs on road for a fully loaded variant.
