I could be wrong but I got the impression that Tod White were saying that when Jesus was nailed to the cross, all sins, even unspoken of ones, was nailed there and can be forgiven. Maybe the way he said it was shocking.

It was a dramatic way of naming each sin saying individually that God nailed even that to the cross. 2 Cor 5:21 For he hath made him to BE sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Even if when it says "made Him to be" it meant made Him the sacrifice for, wouldn't it still be talking about each & every single sin? And aren't all sins repulsive? (Some more than others -especially the ones YOU personally don't do 🙄). So the point is that people may not have liked his delivery, but that's a preference. The people that God assigned to him will speak and understand him and if you don't you're not one of his people someone else is assigned to speak to you. Don't make your opinion like it's God's opinion‼️ I may never go to his church, but what did he actually do that was wrong? Taking Todd White completely out of this video, (even though the video was created to correct Todd) Justin really does a great job breaking down the scripture. Just to he fair, I think Todd White was attempting to illustrating the principle of Christ becoming sin and , well, you saw it, it was a tad off.. But to be fair, some of Justin Peters opinions on Todd Whites style of Evangelism is a little bias. Todd may not be a "Theologically Sound" Calvinist, (I love Mike Wingers video on why he isn't a Calvinist) , he (Todd) meets people where they are at, in love,(I agree with Dr. Michael Brown and many have gone on to have a fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ. BUT, my heart sank when I saw Todd endorse Kenneth Copeland (who is in my estimation a heritic), as a "Spiritual Father",when he opened his new building (Todds). Todd really was "mentored" by Dan Mohler, who has a small UA-cam following, who, in my estimation, has rebuked Copeland's doctrine, and lives a very modest life preaching a very strong message. Kudos to Dan Mohler.

This has been a huge theological eye-opener for me. I was always told that "Jesus *became* sin for [me]". Yes, He was compared to the spotless lamb, too, but He *became* sin according to all of the pastors of my youth. Hearing what Todd White said, though incredibly over-dramatic, didn't seem wrong because I'd heard it that way my whole life. Thank you, Pastor Justin for giving clear, Biblical reasons for what the Truth actually is.

There is a gigantic difference between imputation (which Justin briefly says in the beginning) and this understanding and teaching that Todd hold, which is Jesus *literally became* sin. In all your passages, the Bible speaks of sin being accounted to, or laid upon, Jesus. Jesus did not 'turn into sin' like Todd says. At the cross there was a grand exchange - we give (or God gives...I won't get into predestination/free will) our lives to Christ, and he takes our punishment to his account, not ours. That's a huge difference than 'turning into sin'.

In the 1990s my wife and I heard a Free Will Baptist preacher say that Jesus became AIDS when He was crucified. This was at a regular Lord's Day meeting. My wife and I turned and looked at each other and said, " Did you hear that?" We noticed that nobody else in the building looked the least bit amazed at hearing such a thing. We were stunned. Haven't been back.

You need to be careful. Vengeance isn't yours. You can, of course, have your own opinions and voice them but be careful. You may judge a man on his fruits but again be careful. But as 1 Peter shows us, “He bore our sins in His own body on the tree…” All of the sins Todd listed referred to Christ taking OUR sin into HIS body so we could be made RIGHTEOUS through HIM. The Pharisees also thought Jesus was blasphemer and look at where that got them. Spread the love of Christ and unite as one Body.
Exactly. I’m only 10 minutes in but it sounds like Todd was being extreme in the types of sins that were named that people are offended. Jesus took our sins away that we have repented of … that includes all of these horrendous things Todd names. He took ALL …that includes these things too. Just because they are really cringe doesn’t mean they are unforgivable …he became the sins that we were forgiven of and the Bible only states one unforgivable sin which is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
Ok I think I get what he’s saying now but it’s really splitting hairs… yes Jesus is still holy afterwards but yes our sins were put on that cross regardless of what it was. 1. There is no difference between what Justin said in 19:40 onwards and what Todd said. Our sins were credited/imputed to Jesus. Todd named the sins, Justin does not. It is easier to talk of sin in the abstract but it gets filthy when one starts naming them as Todd did. 2. II Cor 5:21 does not say 'sin offering' but 'sin'. Same with Rom 8:3. Pls don't change the Scriptures by your own biases (or your favorite systematic theology) 3. Isaiah 53:6 clearly says GOD laid our sins on Jesus. 4. I Pet 2:24 clearly says Jesus bore our sins in His own body on the tree (not in judicial books) 5. Todd repeatedly made it clear that Jesus is holy and never sinned, never gossiped, etc. Why Justin decided to avoid these statements, I don't know. 5. I don't know/follow Todd nor Justin, but I try to be objective with Scriptures. These clips do not show whether Todd is degenerate or not. An objective viewer would think Justin is just trying to tear down Todd.

Which is what he thought he was doing and wha pro-homosexuality churches teach. I think sticking with original, orthodox churches like the Catholics, who have been delving into and writing them down for thousands of years makes more sense as a reliable guide for interpretation. Definitely read and study for yourself; but also look to see where spiritual men and women who produced good fruit have walked in their faith and also see where old heresies started and come around again. Don’t throw out the baby with the bath water. This is what happens when you teach and focus on one verse out of context in stead of with others on the same topic from the Old and New Testament. All that it was necessary to inflict, in order to satisfy divine justice, and present an example of God's hatred to sin, to the universe, was inflicted on Him.

(Proverbs 29:1)- “Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept correction, will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery.” Therefore, please do not ignore God’s instructions just so you can continually do things YOUR OWN WAY. (Moving on) (Reason # 2)- Pride leads to lack of accountability/ NEVER admitting when you are wrong. (This is the biggest one!) More often than not, a prideful person Will NEVER admit when they are wrong. So, if you ever catch a prideful person sinning, or mistreating you, don’t be surprised if they play the victim, get defensive, make an excuse for their sin, or Lie about it, in order to avoid admitting that they were wrong. Whatever the case may be, the ugly truth is that Refusing to admit when you are wrong is extremely bad for relationships; (such as: marriages, parent- child relationships, And most importantly your personal relationship with God)- If you ever wrong your child or your spouse (for example) and you never apologize, you can seriously damage them emotionally! If you ever wrong someone please do not pretend like nothing ever happened, or refuse to talk about it, or refuse to apologize to them; because If you behave this way, people will develop hatred for you or walk out of your life. Henceforth, It is futile (pointless) to hide behind pride, because at the end of the day, Owning up to your own mistakes has the power to HEAL relationships! So again, if you ever mistreat someone *NEVER* be too ashamed to apologize! Because It can save a relationship or marriage!
I think Todd’s heart problems are a physical manifestation of his deranged spirit. It’s not “just” physical heart problems… it’s actual HEART (spirit/soul) problems!

I don’t know Todd White. Never met him. I don’t attend his church. I watched your video here. I listened to your accusations. I’ve listened to a couple of Todd’s videotaped testimonies. We all know what Todd was saying-what he meant. He said what you said. The both of you believe the same regarding this principle though you try to twist it otherwise. Todd emphasized that Jesus never DID any of that nor was guilty of any of that. Todd was saying (and meant) that Jesus took upon Himself OUR GUILT for ALL of those sins. You know that as well as I do. I hate seeing self-proclaimed “preachers” going Pharisaical and self-righteous on other preachers who are witnessing of Christ and His Atonement. It’s a sad thing to see. It’s anti-Christian. It’s against the way of Christ. Repent ye pharisaical hypocrite. Put down your stone for ye are not without sin yourself. Between two who are preaching Christ -one who simply shares his testimony and witness of Christ -and another who spends ANY time finger-pointing, judging, and ACCUSING another, I will certainly give more ear to the former rather than the latter. “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” -Jesus Christ What are we to do with this? Are we to judge Jesus for this anti-Christian doctrine and accuse him of “blasphemy” and “sacrilege” the same as you have done to Todd? Obviously, Jesus didn’t mean that literally. Neither did Todd. And we all know it. If you don’t know it, I suggest you get down on your knees before our Father and plead for a removal of scales-and a beam which are blinding your vision.
Justin acted incredulous that anyone could learn more about a particular doctrine as time goes by or as their spirituality and knowledge base increases during their walk with The Lord. Justin actually criticized Todd for having shared with his fellowmen/women that he learned deeper meaning behind a passage of scripture or a particular doctrine of Truth as he read and studied it again. Anyone who has honestly walked with Christ and honestly studied the Gospel knows exactly what Todd was talking about. There are deeper and deeper levels of meaning to each principle and doctrine of Jesus Christ which we are able to newly discover (or have revealed to us through the power of the Holy Ghost) when we are spiritually ready to receive the deeper meaning. That Justin is incredulous this can happen with anyone, thinks it’s wrong, and actually uses that process to criticize and accuse someone of being “out of the way” or “non-regenerate” and not worthy to open their mouth and witness of Christ and the change Christ’s cleansing Atonement can have on our life, then perhaps it’s Justin who needs to step down for awhile and repent of pharisaical stone casting before he attempts to “preach” anymore. This all makes me wonder about the possibility of jealousy on some level as some of the motive behind this publicly posted pharisaical video of accusation and judgement of another. It certainly isn’t of a Christlike spirit. It does remind me of the rantings of the ancient Pharisees as they reviled, accused, mocked, and unrighteously judged Jesus and his 12 Apostles accusing them of being “BLASPHEMERS” against God and preachers of false doctrines!
Don’t get me wrong, Todd White isn’t Jesus Christ nor is he one of Christ’s 12 Apostles, and he can be fallible in his understanding of some of the doctrines of Christ as all of us can be during our sojourn here in Mortality for none of us are perfect. NONE of us. The same goes for Justin here. And as we can say of Justin we can also say of Todd-notwithstanding their personal mortal imperfections and weaknesses, Todd is a disciple of Jesus, I’ve felt the love he has for our Savior, and he has as much right to bear witness and testify of Christ as any disciple of our Redeemer does.
Right? I read Scripture all of the time that the Lord uses to reveal deeper truths. It's why the Word is alive and active. Disappointed Justin seems to be seeking the worst in others and being deliberately obtuse here. I watched this video expecting to agree with Justin and I am completely disappointed in him twisting things so dramatically.
I’m definitely not a fan of Todd Whites presentation but neither am I of Justin Peters desire to find fault so often, seems to me Todd was just trying to make the congregation see the horror of what Christ took upon himself for us. Exactly! I was waiting for the worse and waiting.... He's trying to explain Jesus carrying us with our sins to the cross and our baptism symbolises dying and resurrecting in him. We see in parts and instead of condemning his ministry, we can add our perspective so that the body grows. I don’t know a whole lot about Todd White, I just started watching some of his videos and I can see his love for Christ. I didn’t take it to mean Jesus actually became all those things he said, I took it to mean He took the punishment for all those things. Another thing, did Jesus seek out all the best Rabi’s in the land to help spread the gospel? Or did He recruit fisherman and tax collectors? Did God not call a Christian murderer to preach the gospel? Does is say in the Bible to wait until you have full understanding of God to share your faith? Matthew 18:20. Again, I don’t know much about Todd, maybe there is something that will make me change my opinion of him, but so far what I see is him speaking of Gods love and grace and it makes me thirsty for more of The Word.
We absolutely agree with you. Todd is humble and spends hours in prayer with GOD daily. He shows fruits of the Spirit. Justin Peters has twisted Todd’s words around many times. It’s ok that he doesn’t understand the way Todd speaks. It is not biblical however that Justin mocks others. He speaks with contempt and mocks often...not biblical discernment or rebuking. This is not the Spirit. I remain open to seeing hypocrisy and / or false teaching in ANYBODY. I have not seen it in Todd White yet. Also, there are heresies and traditions of men that Justin Peters ( and Todd White) both believe in. A little research shows the truth of these false, man made traditions that the Holy Word clearly tells us not to participate in. But is it salvational? Should Justin Peters stop his ministry because of these traditions he follows that are clearly forbidden by GOD? That is for GOD to judge. I do wish Justin would repent from his mocking attitude and own fleshly thoughts. Some of the Bible translations he uses are not accurate as well. I pray for biblical discernment and Holy Spirit given understanding for all of us honestly seeking our Messiah. Obedience is GOD’s love language. Correct Biblical Theology is totally important because what he is preaching right now is the doctrine of devils which the bible prophecies about in the last days. Amen. God got my attention and brought great conviction upon my heart through Todd. I'm now walking with the Lord daily again after being mired in the pig trough. After doing my research in the Word, and cross checking it with the multitude of counsel, and digging deeper in prayer, and study I found nothing in Todd's preaching that is false. I'm concerned that the author of this video is building a following by focusing on picking a part this Ministry that doesn't mince words trying to tickle people's ears. The Gospel is really offensive to the world system and its friends.

I think Todd was saying he became YOU , sinners, naming it all... including Todd himself sees that it was supposed to be us dying on that cross coz we are the sinners. So yes he became sim in the sense of he bore ours; he did not sin. So saying he “became” whatever sin the pastor says is off key.
But the Bible literally says Jesus became sin. What does that mean? That literally does mean that Jesus, in that moment on the cross took on all the sin of humanity past, present, and future. He became our scapegoat! The sacrificial lamb. Jesus didn’t literally do these things. And that’s not what Todd was saying. But to the perspective of the courts of heaven and God himself, Jesus was the literally manifestation of sin on that tree. Scripture says “he became a curse for us, for cursed is every man who hangs on a tree” Jesus was cursed and literally became cursed! so we could be blessed with freedom and Relationship with God! Todd White could have said what he said differently, but he is making a point of how infinitely huge our gap from God was because of sin and how radical Jesus payment to bring back to himself was.

This is nuts! I can't believe the things he said, yet that itself says a lot. Christ's righteousness was imputed on us, and He took our punishment on our behalf. Sure, God turned away and poured His wrath upon Jesus as if He were a sinner, but that was imputation, not that Christ was literally a sin(EDIT- a sinner). He took our sin upon Himself and imputed His righteousness upon us who would believe. Sproul has a powerful lecture on imputation. Great stuff here Brother Justin! God allowed humans to slap, spit, unmercifully beat, impale and placed upright on the cross and jab with a spear. I think Todd meant that Jesus taking all sin on his body knew what each felt like. I don't think at all that he meant Jesus did those sins. Todd know Jesus was/is sinless.

Our Father in heaven is a Holy God. He turned away from Jesus when he hung on that cross because sin displeases Him. At that very moment, Christ took on all the sins of the world that we may be saved by grace through faith in Jesus. As Christ was the sin sacrifice for all mankind, the Father had to forsake him at that moment because sin and holiness cannot be together. Christ died for us in shame but was resurrected in glory.

What was scary to me was everything he called out was of sexual deviancy and I can’t help but wonder what demons he may really actually be dealing with.

Hearing this literally hurt my heart. I found myself saying I’m so sorry Jesus. It was as if Jesus put on OUR baggage. Like carrying suitcases and taking them with Him- He didn’t do anything but carried OUR “baggage” suitcases for us! He died with our baggage and buried it Himself. Then His blood covered OUR baggge to never be seen by our Father. He was our ONLY HOPE to be with OUR FATHER AND HIM! He was the perfect lamb who was sacrificed. Praise Jesus for His sacrifice. I could be wrong but I got the impression that Tod White were saying that when Jesus was nailed to the cross, all sins, even unspoken of ones, was nailed there and can be forgiven. Maybe the way he said it was shocking.

Even if when it says "made Him to be" it meant made Him the sacrifice for, wouldn't it still be talking about each & every single sin? And aren't all sins repulsive? (Some more than others -especially the ones YOU personally don't do 🙄). So the point is that people may not have liked his delivery, but that's a preference. The people that God assigned to him will speak and understand him and if you don't you're not one of his people someone else is assigned to speak to you. Don't make your opinion like it's God's opinion‼️ I may never go to his church, but what did he actually do that was wrong? Taking Todd White completely out of this video, (even though the video was created to correct Todd) Justin really does a great job breaking down the scripture.
Just to he fair, I think Todd White was attempting to illustrating the principle of Christ becoming sin and , well, you saw it, it was a tad off.. But to be fair, some of Justin Peters opinions on Todd Whites style of Evangelism is a little bias. Todd may not be a "Theologically Sound" Calvinist, (I love Mike Wingers video on why he isn't a Calvinist) , he (Todd) meets people where they are at, in love,(I agree with Dr. Michael Brown and many have gone on to have a fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ.
BUT, my heart sank when I saw Todd endorse Kenneth Copeland (who is in my estimation a heritic), as a "Spiritual Father",when he opened his new building (Todds). Todd really was "mentored" by Dan Mohler, who has a small UA-cam following, who, in my estimation, has rebuked Copeland's doctrine, and lives a very modest life preaching a very strong message. Kudos to Dan Mohler.

So, “God made him . . . to be sin for us” means that Jesus, although sinless, was treated as if He were not. Although He remained holy, He was regarded as guilty of all the sin in the world. Through imputation of our sin to Him, He became our substitute and the recipient of God’s judgment against sin. This has been a huge theological eye-opener for me. I was always told that "Jesus *became* sin for [me]". Yes, He was compared to the spotless lamb, too, but He *became* sin according to all of the pastors of my youth. Hearing what Todd White said, though incredibly over-dramatic, didn't seem wrong because I'd heard it that way my whole life. Thank you, Pastor Justin for giving clear, Biblical reasons for what the Truth actually is.

There is a gigantic difference between imputation (which Justin briefly says in the beginning) and this understanding and teaching that Todd hold, which is Jesus *literally became* sin. In all your passages, the Bible speaks of sin being accounted to, or laid upon, Jesus. Jesus did not 'turn into sin' like Todd says. At the cross there was a grand exchange - we give (or God gives...I won't get into predestination/free will) our lives to Christ, and he takes our punishment to his account, not ours. That's a huge difference than 'turning into sin'.

I think you took Todd too literal on “became sin.” Todd even reaffirms Christ never sinned and Todd never said Christ physically “morphed” or “transformed” into sin. But as 1 Peter shows us, “He bore our sins in His own body on the tree…” All of the sins Todd listed referred to Christ taking OUR sin into HIS body so we could be made RIGHTEOUS through HIM. The Pharisees also thought Jesus was blasphemer and look at where that got them. Spread the love of Christ and unite as one Body.

Exactly. I’m only 10 minutes in but it sounds like Todd was being extreme in the types of sins that were named that people are offended. Jesus took our sins away that we have repented of … that includes all of these horrendous things Todd names. He took ALL …that includes these things too. Just because they are really cringe doesn’t mean they are unforgivable …he became the sins that we were forgiven of and the Bible only states one unforgivable sin which is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
Ok I think I get what he’s saying now but it’s really splitting hairs… yes Jesus is still holy afterwards but yes our sins were put on that cross regardless of what it was. 1. There is no difference between what Justin said in 19:40 onwards and what Todd said. Our sins were credited/imputed to Jesus. Todd named the sins, Justin does not. It is easier to talk of sin in the abstract but it gets filthy when one starts naming them as Todd did.
2. II Cor 5:21 does not say 'sin offering' but 'sin'. Same with Rom 8:3. Pls don't change the Scriptures by your own biases (or your favorite systematic theology)
3. Isaiah 53:6 clearly says GOD laid our sins on Jesus.
4. I Pet 2:24 clearly says Jesus bore our sins in His own body on the tree (not in judicial books)
5. Todd repeatedly made it clear that Jesus is holy and never sinned, never gossiped, etc. Why Justin decided to avoid these statements, I don't know.
5. I don't know/follow Todd nor Justin, but I try to be objective with Scriptures. These clips do not show whether Todd is degenerate or not. An objective viewer would think Justin is just trying to tear down Todd.
I had the same feeling!! Definitely read and study for yourself; but also look to see where spiritual men and women who produced good fruit have walked in their faith and also see where old heresies started and come around again. Don’t throw out the baby with the bath water. This is what happens when you teach and focus on one verse out of context in stead of with others on the same topic from the Old and New Testament. “2 reasons Why the Bible says *NOT* to have pride!”
(Reason #1) -Pride leads to stubbornness/ refusing correction.
Dear brothers and sisters, a person who has a lot of pride has an extremely hard time listening to other people; because they always believe themselves to be correct. Prideful people would rather listen to their own advice instead of listen to someone that is much wiser than themselves. (such as God).
The problem with that is, If You’re doing something wrong and you refuse to listen to someone instead of yourself, or refuse to accept advice, then you will just keep repeating the same sins or mistakes over and over again.
And that’s why the Bible says:
(Proverbs 3:5)- “Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.”
(Proverbs 13:10)- “Pride leads to destruction: those who take advice are wise.”
If you sin against God, the worst thing you can do is make an excuse, pretend that you didn’t sin, refuse to confess/ or refuse to repent. (See proverbs 29:1.)
(Proverbs 29:1)- “Whoever stubbornly refuses to accept correction, will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery.”
Therefore, please do not ignore God’s instructions just so you can continually do things YOUR OWN WAY.

(Reason # 2)- Pride leads to lack of accountability/ NEVER admitting when you are wrong. (This is the biggest one!)
More often than not, a prideful person Will NEVER admit when they are wrong. So, if you ever catch a prideful person sinning, or mistreating you, don’t be surprised if they play the victim, get defensive, make an excuse for their sin, or Lie about it, in order to avoid admitting that they were wrong.
Whatever the case may be, the ugly truth is that Refusing to admit when you are wrong is extremely bad for relationships; (such as: marriages, parent- child relationships, And most importantly your personal relationship with God)- If you ever wrong your child or your spouse (for example) and you never apologize, you can seriously damage them emotionally! If you ever wrong someone please do not pretend like nothing ever happened, or refuse to talk about it, or refuse to apologize to them; because If you behave this way, people will develop hatred for you or walk out of your life.
Henceforth, It is futile (pointless) to hide behind pride, because at the end of the day, Owning up to your own mistakes has the power to HEAL relationships! So again, if you ever mistreat someone *NEVER* be too ashamed to apologize! Because It can save a relationship or marriage!

I don’t know Todd White. Never met him. I don’t attend his church. I watched your video here. I listened to your accusations. I’ve listened to a couple of Todd’s videotaped testimonies. We all know what Todd was saying-what he meant. He said what you said. The both of you believe the same regarding this principle though you try to twist it otherwise. Todd emphasized that Jesus never DID any of that nor was guilty of any of that. Todd was saying (and meant) that Jesus took upon Himself OUR GUILT for ALL of those sins. You know that as well as I do.
I hate seeing self-proclaimed “preachers” going Pharisaical and self-righteous on other preachers who are witnessing of Christ and His Atonement. It’s a sad thing to see. It’s anti-Christian. It’s against the way of Christ.

Obviously, Jesus didn’t mean that literally. Neither did Todd. And we all know it. If you don’t know it, I suggest you get down on your knees before our Father and plead for a removal of scales-and a beam which are blinding your vision.
Justin acted incredulous that anyone could learn more about a particular doctrine as time goes by or as their spirituality and knowledge base increases during their walk with The Lord. Justin actually criticized Todd for having shared with his fellowmen/women that he learned deeper meaning behind a passage of scripture or a particular doctrine of Truth as he read and studied it again. Anyone who has honestly walked with Christ and honestly studied the Gospel knows exactly what Todd was talking about. There are deeper and deeper levels of meaning to each principle and doctrine of Jesus Christ which we are able to newly discover (or have revealed to us through the power of the Holy Ghost) when we are spiritually ready to receive the deeper meaning. That Justin is incredulous this can happen with anyone, thinks it’s wrong, and actually uses that process to criticize and accuse someone of being “out of the way” or “non-regenerate” and not worthy to open their mouth and witness of Christ and the change Christ’s cleansing Atonement can have on our life, then perhaps it’s Justin who needs to step down for awhile and repent of pharisaical stone casting before he attempts to “preach” anymore.
This all makes me wonder about the possibility of jealousy on some level as some of the motive behind this publicly posted pharisaical video of accusation and judgement of another. It certainly isn’t of a Christlike spirit. It does remind me of the rantings of the ancient Pharisees as they reviled, accused, mocked, and unrighteously judged Jesus and his 12 Apostles accusing them of being “BLASPHEMERS” against God and preachers of false doctrines!
Don’t get me wrong, Todd White isn’t Jesus Christ nor is he one of Christ’s 12 Apostles, and he can be fallible in his understanding of some of the doctrines of Christ as all of us can be during our sojourn here in Mortality for none of us are perfect. NONE of us. The same goes for Justin here. And as we can say of Justin we can also say of Todd-notwithstanding their personal mortal imperfections and weaknesses, Todd is a disciple of Jesus, I’ve felt the love he has for our Savior, and he has as much right to bear witness and testify of Christ as any disciple of our Redeemer does.
Right? I read Scripture all of the time that the Lord uses to reveal deeper truths. It's why the Word is alive and active. Disappointed Justin seems to be seeking the worst in others and being deliberately obtuse here. I don’t know a whole lot about Todd White, I just started watching some of his videos and I can see his love for Christ. I didn’t take it to mean Jesus actually became all those things he said, I took it to mean He took the punishment for all those things. Another thing, did Jesus seek out all the best Rabi’s in the land to help spread the gospel? Or did He recruit fisherman and tax collectors? Did God not call a Christian murderer to preach the gospel? Does is say in the Bible to wait until you have full understanding of God to share your faith? Matthew 18:20. Again, I don’t know much about Todd, maybe there is something that will make me change my opinion of him, but so far what I see is him speaking of Gods love and grace and it makes me thirsty for more of The Word.
We absolutely agree with you. Todd is humble and spends hours in prayer with GOD daily. He shows fruits of the Spirit. Justin Peters has twisted Todd’s words around many times. It’s ok that he doesn’t understand the way Todd speaks. It is not biblical however that Justin mocks others. He speaks with contempt and mocks often...not biblical discernment or rebuking. This is not the Spirit. I remain open to seeing hypocrisy and / or false teaching in ANYBODY. I have not seen it in Todd White yet.
Also, there are heresies and traditions of men that Justin Peters ( and Todd White) both believe in. A little research shows the truth of these false, man made traditions that the Holy Word clearly tells us not to participate in. But is it salvational? Should Justin Peters stop his ministry because of these traditions he follows that are clearly forbidden by GOD? That is for GOD to judge.
I do wish Justin would repent from his mocking attitude and own fleshly thoughts. Some of the Bible translations he uses are not accurate as well.
I pray for biblical discernment and Holy Spirit given understanding for all of us honestly seeking our Messiah. Obedience is GOD’s love language. Let us not be prideful and think our thoughts and ways are right, lest we perish.

Correct Biblical Theology is totally important because what he is preaching right now is the doctrine of devils which the bible prophecies about in the last days. Also the moment i saw him starting teaming up with the prosperity preachers i knew he was heading the wrong way.
Amen. God got my attention and brought great conviction upon my heart through Todd. I'm now walking with the Lord daily again after being mired in the pig trough. After doing my research in the Word, and cross checking it with the multitude of counsel, and digging deeper in prayer, and study I found nothing in Todd's preaching that is false. I'm concerned that the author of this video is building a following by focusing on picking a part this Ministry that doesn't mince words trying to tickle people's ears. The Gospel is really offensive to the world system and its friends.

I think Todd was saying he became YOU , sinners, naming it all... including Todd himself sees that it was supposed to be us dying on that cross coz we are the sinners. But because of His love, Jesus died for us so whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. When God open my eyes and see His grace and His love, I felt the same thing. How grateful and thankful I am for Christ for saving me and giving me Life through His blood. Peters interpret the same thing but in different approach. Of course the statement is true. It was an exchange; our sin for his righteousness. So yes he became sim in the sense of he bore ours; he did not sin. So saying he “became” whatever sin the pastor says is off key.
But the Bible literally says Jesus became sin. What does that mean? That literally does mean that Jesus, in that moment on the cross took on all the sin of humanity past, present, and future. He became our scapegoat! The sacrificial lamb. Jesus didn’t literally do these things. And that’s not what Todd was saying. But to the perspective of the courts of heaven and God himself, Jesus was the literally manifestation of sin on that tree. Scripture says “he became a curse for us, for cursed is every man who hangs on a tree” Jesus was cursed and literally became cursed! so we could be blessed with freedom and Relationship with God! Todd White could have said what he said differently, but he is making a point of how infinitely huge our gap from God was because of sin and how radical Jesus payment to bring back to himself was.
what is sad is that many people actually listen and believe what this preacher says....

This is nuts! I can't believe the things he said, yet that itself says a lot. Christ's righteousness was imputed on us, and He took our punishment on our behalf. Sure, God turned away and poured His wrath upon Jesus as if He were a sinner, but that was imputation, not that Christ was literally a sin(EDIT- a sinner). He took our sin upon Himself and imputed His righteousness upon us who would believe. Sproul has a powerful lecture on imputation. Great stuff here Brother Justin! God allowed humans to slap, spit, unmercifully beat, impale and placed upright on the cross and jab with a spear. I agree with you, Justin I just am struggling here.
Our Father in heaven is a Holy God. He turned away from Jesus when he hung on that cross because sin displeases Him. At that very moment, Christ took on all the sins of the world that we may be saved by grace through faith in Jesus. As Christ was the sin sacrifice for all mankind, the Father had to forsake him at that moment because sin and holiness cannot be together. Christ died for us in shame but was resurrected in glory.
