Cody!!! Awesome camp, crappie, and cook video! The weather definitely started way better than the last camping video! Overall, a great day on the water! It's all the experience! Thanks for sharing and I will be waiting to see part 2! Semper Fi Brother!
Awesome camping place.. you caught some slabs for sure. What an awesome fishing experience that was. Thanks for sharing your adventure out at the camp and the crappie fishing video🎣👍👊💯💥
I sure like the looks of all that structure in the lake. I could see the bait drop down right on a crappie. You caught some nice slabs for dinner and enjoyed a cooler day fishing. The pedaling seems like some good excercise. Hope the wind died back down and you went back out before dark. See you at dinner time!
I agree, love fishing the structure and cover on Truman. It's full of standing timber, and dipping timber for crappie is one of my favorite ways to catch them. Pedaling the kayak is some nice exercise, I really enjoy it. Appreciate you watching! -Cody
Those double jig rigs look lethal. Gotta make it a point to try that. The truck bed camper and trailer builds turned out awesome, Cody! Beautiful morning to be out there catching crappie on that timber line that. Some gorgeous fish. Crappie are my absolute favorite fish to catch. I’d take them over a bass any day. I had to pause the video to go look those slab slayers up and add them to my next order from Bass Pro!😂 Gonna try the electric chicken, myself. Looked dynamite. Another awesome episode, brother!
Thanks Chris! Dipping timber with jigs is one of my favorite ways to catch crappie, especially on Truman. It's typically stained-to-muddy, so I can get by with vibrant colors on it like that electric chicken in either the slab slayer, or down size to the baby shad profile if they're finicky. I agree, crappie are my favorite too, but smallmouth are pretty close! Appreciate you watching brother!
Nice place, wow , cooking and eating in camp . Enjoy your food, do you have vegetables? Wow, complete equipment for camping. Wanna see you enjoy your food though, don't you think eating is fun moment?
Thank you! I will be mixing in some veggies into the meal. :) yes, I love eating fresh fish. I'm down in Florida right now, enjoying lots of fresh seafood! Thanks for watching!
Thank you sir, I appreciate you watching! I put in at the Bucksaw boat ramp. That area is probably my favorite place to fish. The Berry Bend boat ramp is a close 2nd for me too. Can't really go wrong crappie fishing either of those parts of the lake. Tight lines! -Cody
Thanks Noah. That's a great place to fish up there. If I would have brought my boat, I would've fished flats up that way for crappie too. I appreciate you watching! -Cody
@@OutdoorQuests the hybrids and white bass have been pretty good to the rain we just got should have them stirred up pretty good. I’ve lived here my entire life I wouldn’t trust putting a boat in Truman right now with it being so low
@noahross1548 definitely need good maps on Truman. I'm overly cautious when I put my boat on there, and use my electronics to follow the river channels very closely, and i will idle when I'm notin the river channel. The Pomme arm, and some of the Tebo you can't even trust electronics as far as I'm concerned. I'd like to get on some hybrids and white bass some time.

Thanks Jim, it was great to get back to a bit of crappie fishing for slabs! I appreciate it! Semper Fi Brother!
Nice freaking slabs!
Truman's got some bigguns, love Crappie fishing that lake. Appreciate you Mike!
That is a nice kayak!
Thanks Mike, I'm definitely enjoying it. Kayak fishing is more fun than I'd even imagined!
A beautiful day on the lake, catching a few fish is a nice bonus.
Thank you!
Man, you had it going on!! Beautiful place! I love those Bobby Garland Slab Slayr's!! Thanks, Cody. Great vid!
Thank you, I love fishing Truman when I get the time. I appreciate you watching!
Great slabs you pulled in. Looks like a really nice camping area!!!
Thanks for watching!

You pulled some fantastic slabs off that wood.
Thanks man!
Those were some perfect eating slabs! Great vid man 👍
They were some nice chunks, which is why I love fishing Truman for crappie. That lake is a phenomenal crappie fishery! Thanks for watching!

Nice job w/ the vid!
Thank you, Bill! I appreciate you stopping by again!
Great video. I'm an Indiana guy so, if you wouldn't mind saying...what ramp did you use? Love seeing the livescope.
Bucksaw it’s on U highway between Clinton mo and Warsaw mo

Nice haul. We have been fishing the flats farther up towards Clinton and been hammering catfish. I have a pin on fish angler on the map.
