Wish I had a spare $3K to drop on the full system. I've been eyeing this for ages and ALMOST pulled the trigger on the kickstart campaign. Hopefully soon! I also didn't realize just how small of a company they are. That is incredible! Way to go guys, keep innovating and pushing the limits on what can be done!
Dear FStoppers, you made a Rhino review, you made a Syrp review, you made a Edelkrone review. Please put that all together and compare these three motion control units with each other. I‘ve been waiting for years to see an in depth comparison of these companies. It would be such a huge help deciding which one to buy! Thanks for your great work 👌
Agree, I'm on the fence between the Syrp and Rhino - I'm mostly looking to using it for motion control with cinema cameras. Any insight from someone who has used both systems would be great!
@@AdamKnee I might just go with Rhino, mainly because I heard the cable used with the Syrip models can over time fray which means eventually you would need a new cable for the slider. Now I like that its infinite with the cable, but to that regard how often are you running a 20 foot slider....lol
I can only praise the service of Rhino. They turned around my original ARC in 10 days including shipping from/to Germany for a warranty repair of the charging controller at no cost to me!
Did you figure it out of fix it - im trying to use it with a Canon C70 and I adjusted the screw for hours and the cam still drops - sorry but this product sucks - we purchased 2 and both units do the same - way below the announced weight limmit as well - I will not recommend this to anyone - look at some of the other options out there
The only issue I see here is that the battery isn't interchangeable. That would be great if you are filming in a very remote place for a very long time.
A couple things irked me with this video. 1. I cannot save any moves. I was told that will happen in the future. 2. My app freezes constantly. Typically if I change the amount of time after setting the keyframes. iPhone 11 pro plus. I have to close the app and reopen it. I would have left that out of your video. 3. I purchased a bundle from kickstarter and it didn't come with a case. I had to buy that separately. Other than that I love my Arc II
I like it, but really I also really like the way you can setup key frames on the edelkrone by just grabbing the camera and pointing it at your subject. that seems so much faster to me, just grab and orientate it manually hit a key frame butting and just keep adding key frames that way, and using the app to adjust speed ramping and duration between key frames, if you get this rhino arc 2 to do that it would extra extra amazing, everything else is awesome already though
I don't have any experience with the slider, but I am an engineer, and the roller design is symmetrical and so I would see no potential issue there. If it's a heavy camera, then maybe the base mount wiggles loose over a bit of time? Most people can't see an application where you'd want to use it upside down, but one I can think of is a mount near the ceiling of a room, where you need to film the area underneath. Again, I'm not a slider owner. I actually haven't owned anything but a point-and-shoot in the last 30 years, so.
wauw ... first I thought 40 min. long ... no way .... but before I knew it, the outro music started and I was just saying noooooooo give me more. Can't wait to see you testing this product.
I wonder how much this will pan? I see a wire attached that looks like it will restrict the panning motion. So hor far will it pan? What is the range of motion of the pan and tilt?
I'm wondering about what he said about the focus pulling only being in focus at the end of the move. Does this mean that the camera has to travel the entire length to the end of the rail before it is focused?
Fast forwarding shows the joby gorillapod slowly flatting out. Also, the cabled connection on the head could be better. I would like it to turn 360 degrees
It says 4-axis... where is the 4th axis? I think the cable to the slider motor is bit weird and... will be troublesome for some. Further, besides the size, what exactly is this 'more' then for example CINETICS LYNX 3 or Syrp? The tracking looks nice, but.... does it only do facetracking or can it track object also? (like obsbot can)
yeah I won't buy this and then again buy an iphone. Cmon son. The whole world have more android users than ios, still they have not released android app yet.
Bought the original (last May) and feel a bit ripped-off, given the high price, that Arc II basically fixed the short comings of the Arc and motor (can’t even leverage the motor) The Rhino website only has a phone number. For those of us getting into the Nikon Z6 ProRes RAW over HDMI to Ninja V world, does this even work? The Z zoom lenses do not have accurate focusing and the focus ring is at the base of the lens - to close for most remote focus devices - so I’ve been using the legacy Nikkor 60mm 2.8 micro - but that needs the FTZ adapter and that additional device makes it unusable for many kits that assume only Sony/Fuji make cameras for video...
Ended up buying the Arc II, Rhino Focus... and High Torq motor... and will simply limit my job shots to what my upgraded Rhino can do! Still planning to use my ironing board (rather than duel tripods) because it’s stable enuff and adjustable.
from tech point of view, this is good but how "smartly" they have linked the arc ii to the slider.Basically you can't buy the motorized slider only, you have to buy the entire thing. Cmon son.
This is my problem with all motorized heads. I already have a great motorized slider. I wish I could just buy the head and make it work with my existing kit. I'm not willing to spend another 2k or 3k for the full bundle.
Man, I love this channel and I get this is how you make your living, make that money! But I wish you would mix in reviews of products you weren't being paid to sell. It's hard to take these seriously.

SAI BHARGAVA Manda having used all of them, I’d say Rhino by a long shot then maybe Syrup and Edelkrone. They are all capable but the manual modes on the Rhino makes it the best since apps disconnect all the time. -P
@Fstoppers, nice video! Am deciding between this system and Edelkrone latest system. What do you like about this system over Edelkrone? Would appreciate detailed real world uses than specs. Thanks!
Wow talking........cause nothing screams cinematic gear made to make cinematic movement like half an hour of exposition. Theres a saying, show, don't tell.

Just connect an external battery bank to run it or recharge during downtime
I'm imaging all the timelapses. Neat system.
I was highly impressed with the first version. This one looks like an epic tool!
Rhino is a great company making quality products the are durable, functional, and easy to use. Love ‘em
Rhino vs Edlekron vs Ifootage vs syrp. Who would dare make that video?
Arc 11 looks pretty sweet though
expensive - expensive - less expensive - expensive :)
Never seen Lee this excited, love it. :D
Lots of lag when following, looks like a security camera setup

the auto mount feature is great, but damn there a gonna be dozens of customer crossing threads that way
Looks really neat, well done Rhino!
Have you tried the Emotimo Spectrum ST4? I want to see a comparison of that and the Rhino Arc II + Slider
Yea...me too. When you buy them, document your comparison and upload it. We'd all love to watch!
Greatest product demo ever.
an important

Can i use the arcii on the slider upside-down?? :3

When do we get to see an Fstoppers tutorial on hardware design and CAD? :-)
This is an amazing product! Well done!
I appreciate the effort to keep the power cable out of the slide path, but might it appear out front in certain low, wide-angle shots?
Lance Newsom face the camera the other direction? -P
@@FStoppers problem solved! There's some out-of-the-box thinking. 😅
Are you guys going to be updating anytime soon?
Fast forwarding shows the joby gorillapod slowly flatting out. Also, the cabled connection on the head could be better. I would like it to turn 360 degrees
Please let this be good! It’s impossible to rent an equivalent edelkrone any where because they break down pretty quickly
This product came out years ago and they still haven't solved the issue of having multiple keyframes?
It says 4-axis... where is the 4th axis?
I think the cable to the slider motor is bit weird and... will be troublesome for some. Further, besides the size, what exactly is this 'more' then for example CINETICS LYNX 3 or Syrp?

The 4 axis are 1) slider, 2) rotation horizontally, 3) rotation vertically, and 4) focus or zoom perpendicular to the sensor. -P
so focus and zoom are now movements over an axis... hm... sure.....
I want one!
Still no Android app and only 2 keyframes? Meh!

"Eventually up to 5 keyframes" How long is "eventually" more than 5 months later?
Still not happened afaik... I mean where is the problem to add more keyframes ffs
I want to see this used on an Edelkrone powered pro slider... (I won’t use the focus motor) please make this video!🤞🏽
the ARC 2 is the Rhino's alternative to the edelkrone system
Still think we need something like the Edelkrone JibONE for vertical video shots...

👍 Great shots
Any Store in Qatar
lol if they continue with adding features, it will end up being a motion control arm robot, about the competition they have Edelkrone.
Rhino ARC II slider bundle, $3650.00. Pass.
all those cables .... $700 for a head like this - no problem. $1400 is insane
the first company who will combine 5-axis slider with a portable gimbal will be millionaire.
It's already possible with the DJI RS2 and the Syrp Genie II
