That was highkey the most perfect onside kick I've ever seen that perfect high bounce right in front of Manvel to his team that was beautiful

I've watched tons of Texas HS football and this is easily in the top 3 of any I've seen. This game had it all. The 4th and 15 throw by John Stephen Jones at the end was the most clutch throw I've ever seen a HS QB make. Shame Manvel had to lose at the goal line at the end but that's just part of what made this game great.

Great game. But how can a highlights film not show the last play (before the tackle, which it shows)? That was the most classic part of this classic game.
Manvel has SIX players in the Top 150 and Highland Park has ZERO! This was an awesome game and I agree, Manvel was sooooo fast. It was a great effort to to beat Manvel.

I only watched the highlights. I hope that isn't true. When my buddy at work told me that Manvel was the best team he'd ever seen, I had to watch the game. It looked like a LOT of talent in black and white.

Xavier, I made the mistake of saying black and white. I meant to say NAVY BLUE and WHITE. I glanced at the screen and it looked like Manvel was black and white school colors. I game to this highlight reel to see what my friend was talking about (maybe the best team he'd seen in high school). I am not making any kind of judgement about the refs nor am I discrediting the Highland Park players. So stop cussing at people on UA-cam and just enjoy the victory.

Manvel wide reciever Preston #5 was trying to injure opposing players on crack back blocks, and knocked HP's free safety out cold with a helmet shot that he left his feet on. Guess who tackled his ass when the game was almost over? The guy he knocked out. Karma is a bitch, and he will get his one day. I hope to see it on sportscenter.

@@flunkyboss-gaming7411 HP always fudges their enrollment numbers to stay out of the upper tiered divisions or classifications, their brief stay in 6A a couple of years ago, they got their ass handed to them.
@@bryanblack526 and they got Jerry paying the refs to cheat for them when they play against good 5A teams at the Star or AT&T. They cheated JT big time at the Star and I heard they cheated Shadow Creek as well with flags and 2 TD's they made got called back.
@@isislaz I'm beginning to get the impression specific teams are ordained to advance higher than the regional quarterfinals. I believe Cedar Park was to be the State Champs in 2014. As good as they were, they needed help from the refs just to hang with Ennis. In fact, CP went for it on a 4th down. Ennis held, the refs measured, it was clearly a couple of inches short and the ref signaled a 1st down for CP. The very next play CP scored a TD. Pure BS. Despite the refs efforts Ennis still won, the 1st quarter Ennis flat out kicked their can

@@bryanblack526 well HP is different because at his venues when HP plays, the refs will cheat for them when needed. And not only that, you will see the refs slapping hands with HP players and all in their huddles having convos with the coaches and players and NOT talking to the opposing team coaches as if they're discussing what to call and when.

IF John Steven is successful at Arkansas and is good enough to be drafted should he be forced to enter the draft and play for a team other than the cowboys if another team selects him or should there be a rule change because of him? He has a controlling interest in the Dallas Cowboys and I couldn't see it where he would HAVE to intentionally cause harm to his interests. The rule change should be that if you have a controlling interests in a current team you have the option to only play for that team, but the player could decide on his own to make himself available to other teams.

This situation reminds me of Doc and Austin Rivers... even though I’m from HP I wouldn’t want a roster spot on the Cowboys taken by somebody who might not deserve it. I’d much rather want Jones to prove himself elsewhere.

Wow. These kids where clearly outmatched everywhere on the field it was laughable. Yet, they still won. Even if they won from a few off calls, they deserved it. Manvel clearly deserved to loose.
