Thanks for sharing and the transparency- feel like you bought what you liked and will use rather than spending like crazy to “get offered” a bag. Love the Toteme jumper on you! So chic!!
I think transparency is a must. I know there are some creators that just walk into a boutique and get offered a bag or a special order opportunity. But that’s not how it works for the majority of us. And yes, I really try to only purchase items I like. Love toteme sweaters! I have 2 and definitely want more!!
So interesting to hear how it works in the USA. My story is very different. I find it interesting that your SA actually told you that you have to spend.
Yes very different than in the UK. I wish we had a “wishlist” system like it sounds like you have there (or that’s what I’ve gathered from watching other UK creators). Don’t get me wrong, I love the Hermes pieces I own but it would be nice to just buy with the understanding it’s because I love it and not trying to stay on a certain buying schedule, etc.
@@luxuryandlifeinthemiddle yep very different for me. I had only ever bought a bangle and a belt when I was offered my first bag. Strange how it works. I was very lucky.
First Kelly - no pre spend - went through a VIC friend’s SA . Second Kelly - bought two interesting twillys and then was offered when I ask for a big bag (non descript in my request) . Limited edition bag offer - spending on things I like in Hermes but no intention to acquire a quota bag. Only had a conversation with SA about unusual bags and the SA asked me if I wanted to see a very unusual bag. Heehee.
@@luxuryandlifeinthemiddle I am located in Australia but those two Kellys were bought in HK (via friend’s SA ) and Japan (bigger flagship opening in Omotesando then). The limited ed was bought in Australia but I did a spend on other items /accessories (some of their jewellery is actually competitively priced with the local jeweller’s chain stores and their shoes were priced on par with other luxury brands) Thank you for the interesting video!
My sis and I both bought the 22 bags. Not a single thing wrong with them. We’re quite happy with them. Like you we are in Ohio and have very little luxury. We have a Lois Vuitton and just got a Gucci. I only shop when I travel
Hi Kate! Great to hear from another midwesterner!! I really love the easy, carefree vibe of the 22 bag. I was pretty worried when I started seeing all the videos coming out. I keep checking mine and it seems to be good. Fingers crossed it will continue that way. Hope you and your sister are enjoying yours. Thanks for watching!
Yes, I find Denver to be much more "reasonable" with the pre-spend prior to getting a QB offer. I love that boutique! Normal people work there =) Also, if you are trying to get Gold on Gold B30... it is a bit hard to get bc everyone is asking for that one. I waited about 6 months....
Ha ha ha fantasy. That’s what I said. I’m trying to buy what I should but not what I think I should in my fantasy life either at 51 lol xxx. I want the black dare sneakers. They have been sold out for ages too.
Glad I’m not the only one. I think the Dare sneakers are done unfortunately. They seem to change that platform style up a bit every season and rename it. So I’m sure they’ll bro g out something again soon.
Thanks for sharing and being so transparent!
Of course. Hopefully it helps others in their “journey”.

Very interesting- great to see some transparency on the Journey!
Thanks Dayle. I thought it was important to share.

Wow! That’s incredible!!
@@luxuryandlifeinthemiddle maybe I should do a video on my journey?
Absolutely! I love hearing about all the different ways people get bags around the world. Such different experiences.

Wow! That’s amazing. Just curious what country you’re located in? It sounds like you have a beautiful collection!! Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the info! I actually would prefer gold with palladium. My SA was happy to hear that because like you said, most people want ghw.

@@luxuryandlifeinthemiddle amen to real life lol xx
To my understanding leather goods (bags) don’t count towards a quota offer.
I think it depends on the boutique. But I think a lot of them don’t count it.
