- Ever wondered if expensive gourmet ingredients truly make a difference in homemade pizza? In this video, I'm putting two pizzas to the test: one made with high-end ingredients and the other with budget-friendly alternatives. Both pizzas have identical toppings.
We’ll explore:
🍕 Whether budget ingredients can still deliver delicious results.
🍕 If gourmet ingredients are worth the splurge.
🍕 How much are you really saving in the end?
Whether you’re a seasoned home chef or just starting your pizza-making journey, this video is a fun exploration into some not-so-scientific data about splurging on ingredients and cutting a few corners.

One tip, budget ingredients should be Great Value because they are more assessable to more people. However, this is your channel, and I would hate someone to tell me what to do on my channel, if I ever start making videos.
Guess it depends where you are. Walmart is a 45 minute drive from where I’m at in LA, but Ralph’s/Kroger is every couple blocks. 🤷♂️
@@BensJazzKitchen That's true about depending on where you are. I think we have 3 Krogers in our state. But LA has more people than Oklahoma.
I grew up loving pan pizza, but as I got older, I started to prefer thin and crispy. I call it cracker crust. I think one of the best chains for pizza is Sbarro. I still prefer Pizza Hutt when it comes to the big 4. I like New York style the best, but Pizza Hutt has a new tavern style that really satisfies.
Love me some Pizza Hut. I miss the old Brick and Mortar locations.
@@BensJazzKitchen We still have some here in Oklahoma.
