That's why they're so successful in the US. But there are a lot of smaller bands from Germany which are much more interesting than the Scorpions.

What is truly amazing is to know their ages now and the fact that they are still SELLING OUT arenas, albums,,, everything to this day. Also, you will see parents and their children together at Maidens concerts !!!

This is based on author Raymond Briggs' post-nuclear fallout graphic novel When The Wind Blows with some changes. Many people that don't know metal had the same attitude about metal and realized what it's all about, you just you have to take the first step to listen, glad you did. Yes, Bruce Dickinson has always been a very "physical" lead vocalist, with his movements and gestures. As much of a performer as s singer really. The song is inspired by an old British animated movie called "When the Wind Blows" about an old couple tryign to survive a nuclear war.

The other one called: The sign of the cross - This song is based on the 1980 book The Name Of The Rose. The book was later made in a movie starring Sean Connery and Christian Slater. Right band, wrong song. Like most good bands, they make masterpieces at first, but it seems that when they get old they lose the talent, the creativity. Check " Hallowed be thy Name" (live), one of their best concerts, is very old.
