I can remember making this only once for a home economics lesson. At the time I didn't care for it too much, I suppose my palate wasn't very sophisticated at the age of 12. I think I would appreciate it a lot more now. And you make it look so simple too, which I know is quite deceptive. I rarely have luck with pastry. I think perhaps I'm too heavy handed. They say that you need a light touch and cold hands for a good pastry. You clearly have both Susu.
Pastry making isn't as difficult as it appears...I'm not the best but with practice (and patience) it no longer frightens me! Thanks for watching and supporting this channel 😘
It's breakfast time here in England right now. Oooh, I would love a slice of this right now 😍. I love the little twists on the recipes that you share, like adding frozen fruit to this....genius idea x
Hi Tenny! Thanks for your question. I would suggest that if you don't want to use all purpose flour that you use a gluten free flour mix. The flour and eggs give frangipane a softer consistency - without which it would essentially give you a marzipan. Hope this helps😘
You’re just a pro ;-) will try this Insha’Allah

Sughra, I wonder if you can substitute all purpose flour with almond flour? ~ Tenny
