Best review on an Eart Guitar on internet. I have another model and I totally agree with you, but I appreciate the real sounds and the honest opinion. And great playing too man! Thanks from Spain.
Good review sir. It seems very honest and informative. Thanks for doing the legwork for us that are considering it. Hope to see more content as your gear grows!
Bought this when it came out over a yr ago and it’s one of the best guitars I’ve ever played…out punches my Eastman 335 with EASE…and it absolutely RIPS…such a good guitar and I LOVE the aesthetic…wanted a 335 that looked like this for ages…no dumb polyurethane etc…just beautiful mahogany, open pored, letting it ring out like a bell…the neck is INCREDIBLE, and the pickups blew me away…thought I’d change them immediately and there was no need…57 classic replicas and the bridge is nice and hot…ONLY nitpick is the cheap selector switch and wish the binding was more cream looking, other than that I’ve been gigging with this bad boy and everyone who plays is blown away at how good the guitar is….I also bought one of their Tele’s and it too is freaking awesome
Nice review! I got mine a year ago. It had a slight rattle especially on certain notes and it drove me nuts. I went through everything and then noticed a very very small side to side movement on one of the bridge screws whnäen poking with a small screwdriver. Put some clear nail polish between the head of the screw and the bridge element and the rattle was gone.
I've seen other reviews about the "Eart" string rattle, Could be a neck relief issue, nut that was cut wrong, bridge issue, or high fret that needs leveling. None of these problems are major and it is still a great value guitar.
Amazon and the Eart site no longer lists the Eart 335 with 4 knobs... Now they only offer a 325 with 2 knobs and a different body shape for $399... I bought the Tele model with a Maple fretboard last year for $259 on sale and I love it over my 1980 Gibson LP and 1994 Fender Strat
Nice review the masses has spoken and they listened firefly has stainless steel frets for 200.00 dollars and under. And they are very well built guitars I have a few.
Thanks for the review! I've been thinking about getting an Eart, but I already have an Epiphone Dot...so maybe I don't need the Eart if it's not really any better. I really do love the Dot btw.
UA-cam Creeps Keep Censoring me and make me write your post over again ? Very Nice Guitar Out of Box . Easy Setup Bridge Stop Bar & Truss Rod with new Strings 10's . F Holes Blow Like the Wind on High Gain Amps ! Set up before you post ..
Not really that valuable to do a "serious" set up before posting. A great set up can make even a sub par guitar sound better than an expensive high end Collings, Gibson, Martin or Fender.
I've had my Eart E-335 for over a year now. I had it adjusted by a professional luthier even though it was good out of the box. Couldn't be happier.

Wow, thanks! Glad it was helpful!

Mine was intonated perfectly out of the box, just changed strings and was good to go

I noticed amazon only had the (much uglier) version shortly after I made this video. I sure hope it doesn’t mean they will stop selling them!
This guitar may be worth a bit in the near future…almost like EART realized they put out something TOO good and too cheap….incredible instrument

They are utter shite compared to what EART does…my buddy bought 2 Firefly guitars and they were JUNK

Great review!
Appreciate it!
I didn’t have any issue with gingers turning black
Adjust the neck. the rattling is the strings hitting the fret.
