- This is part 2 in our series of build videos following the full build of a stroker 2JZ for one of our project cars here at ECUMaster USA.
This is a full walkthrough of how to assemble a 2JZ bottom end including many tips and tricks for first timers, everything from what certain parts are, what they should look like, and what tools to use to minimize issues. What we do not show is the rotating assembly being built as we had our machine shop Watt's Shop located East of Dallas hand that with machining.

Love you, but for as much as you complained about the previous guy using sealant everywhere, you sure put a lot of sealant on that oil pump hahaha

We try to use the proper amount based on the part and previous experience, we will definitely know if it was too much if we have to remove it later though! lol
I agree. Also the oil pan was still hella dirty even after the 27th cleaning.
I have a gs300 and i plan on doing a build when i have enough cash stored. Love watching video like yours cause they keep the dream alive

As a Toyota mechanic all I can say is calm down with that fipg, you gonna need a 4 foot pry bar to break that fipg free if you ever need to remove anything. 😂
I can confirm, i did this and lord it took me a while to pry it open 💀
Yea he went a little crazy with the FIPG, also put it in quite a few locations that it isn’t called for.

What I didn’t like is when I the FIPG got into the threads of the oil pan bolts - I always felt like I would strip one because of that.
That's reasonable, but a little bit doesn't hurt.
Get a bike rorque wrench, they qork very well at low torque values, 2-20 N.m

How much did the machine work cost?
What all can you use to clean off the debri & particles off the oil pan/block & oil pump
Combination of brake parts cleaner for the big stuff and an ultrasonic cleaner for the parts you need to soak.

They're pretty easy to find with a search. Buy from whoever you trust with your other purchases.
What was the machinists shop name that you guys used?
Watts Machine just outside Dallas, he is a rockstar machinist! We can't recommend him enough.
