Alright so a couple things after doing the install this morning in my F80 M3..the new box doesn’t have screws to open so that plug isn’t necessary. When you undo the plug in the kick panel, slide the grey pins out and into the new harness before putting back into pin holder..only one way for them to lock in place so don’t worry about getting it backwards. And BM3, focus your diy videos more so on the actual job like Kies does instead of trying to make some trendy cuts and angles.
@@julio97402 running the multimap means you have those 4 different map settings on the cruise control button..the flex fuel will adjust automatically no matter which setting you’re in. I always run the stg2 93 multimap and dump some E85 when it’s a race night. I gapped my plugs (97506) to .020 and it’s smooth for E but be prepared for a little bit of stutter at startup when you’re only on pump..usually goes away after car warms up. I had em at .022 to start and that’s good for pump but E would stutter up top while WOT..hope this helps.
@@chosyn187thanks my dude! It makes more sense now. How long have you been running E85? Any problems? I only plan on running full e85 on race nights which is maybe like every other weekend
@ same..1 year with fbo, xHP stg3, bm3 flex and cbc only. It’s my daily that I also take on long trips so I wanted a simple/reliable setup. I run pump 99% of the time. For those occasional 🇲🇽 nights I just dump as much E in as possible..car does decent on pump but really wakes tf up on E. Nt555r2’s hook a 40 roll, last about 7-8k miles.
I ran into this issue with my S55, I took the sensor out of the housing and connected it directly in right after the fuel filter from the precision raceworks, then connected the upgraded fuel line that splits into the HPFP and the port injection block. Then had to extend the wiring harnes from the BM3 module run that through the car under neath the driver seat and just pass it tru the floor with gromet so it can line up with the sensor. This new method looks much easier and a better solution for people with upgraded LPFP. Thank you!
Just recieved my flex fuel kit for s55 f80 m3 but this new harness a little confusing compared to previous version is there any video installation on the new method with new harness
@@mikeroyal4331 nah man I was emailing them for a while got to a plug under my stealing wheel and they want me to de pin wire on the connection and try that. You would think they would try there product on all models that they claim there for.
So if I don’t plan upgrading the fuel hat, I still have to run the new harness to the front of the car? No more plugging into EKP at all? Seems less convenient in those cases.
Ekp can overheat and burn out over time even on stock cars. When this happens it could damage out harness and that’s why we moved away from that location.
Does that mean the install video Kies Motorsport has for S55 where the harness plugs into the factory EKP module is now obsolete? I hope not because that makes it so much easier than having to route the harness to the front but I guess it still isn’t that bad.
I broke the dam clip to the white module that you have to take out from the front passenger floor so now it’s stuck and can’t put pulled out to put in the kit wiring in there. Has anyone else fucked this up and been able to get it out after breaking the clip release
I was so confused when i went to install today but didnt knew that the wiring location had changed. So if i just got the new kit for oem fuel hat can that also be installed in the engine bay location? Or is that only for the oem fuel hat location? I ask because on the website there is no selection for the s55 engine bay location.
We haven’t yet put up the under-the-car location kits for N55/S55 as we’re waiting on parts stock which should be very soon. Oem fuel hat and engine-bay/under-the-car location kits are not the same.

Do I need a custom tune? I’m currently running stage 2 91 OTS. Will the flex fuel auto adjust? Or does it need a multi map? I’m so confused, thanks

Can you make a video for the N55 F10 535i
Nice !!!
Just recieved my flex fuel kit for s55 f80 m3 but this new harness a little confusing compared to previous version is there any video installation on the new method with new harness
Its actually very straight forward. Email support@protuningfreaks.com for assistance
For the N55 F10 the FME isn’t on the passenger door tho? Where would it plug in to?
To the FEM, wherever it is on your particular model. Its almost always passenger side footwell

Can you guys make a step by step video for installation for the F80 S55. If so I’ll buy it, thanks.
Out of the two locations, top mount/fuel or under car, which has more benefits or advantageous over the other

We just no longer connect to EKP for anything that’s all
Thanks for what you guys do. Just waiting on any improvements on the S63 platform
So much for an ease of install for us s55 guys lol
It is even easier now

Do the b58 supra kit fits to the s55
No
Does this kit work for the e92 n55 platform as well. I am highly interested
No

When will this be available? I'm using a Torqbyte system to run my dual LPFP setup and there isnt much room on top of the fuel hat.
The update is now on our website
Please release the m braap sound I need it for my 340😭
How long does this new under car mount kit take to install on a F82 S55 car? Is this better option that the OEM fuel hat location kit?
Its just an option for those that have oem fuel hat modified. Its harder to install as it requires a lift or car on jack stands
Does this work on F10 535i?
Yes
Why no more new videos? I just got bootmod3 it is a beautiful. you guys working on something secret to be released in 2025? :)
So are you SOL if you already bought one ?
No no this is just an additional option for installation
Hello had a question bout loss of burbles I tried making max aggression but ended up with no burbles ? But loving the flex fuel kit for my b58🙌
Email support@protuningfreaks.com and they can help take a look at it with you and maybe do a datalog
