Thank you for teaching people to eat the center broccoli stems, they taste great, and it's annoying watching other chefs waste them

Hi, Sara. Thank you for the tips on keeping the kids happy. My youngest has just started eating broccoli, so you just don't know how much this little recipe is going to help me out! We know if the kids aint happy then it's hard for mom to get rid of stress. :) Thanks, girl. xoxo

Hi Sarah, I just finished making this recipe, and it was so delicious and simple to make! I did however reduce the amount of ginger and used 1 tablespoon of liquid aminos instead of 2 tablespoons of soy sauce. Can't wait to try more of your recipes :)

Hi Sarah, my granddaughter (5) and I drooled over the video this afternoon and went to the store to buy the ingredients. I made the recipe times another half because we have 4 adults and 2 children eating and it was awesome, nothing leftover for lunch tomorrow. I'm not a speedy cooker, so it did take me a while to do all the chopping, but this goes on our menu rotation without hesitation. THANK YOU!

I make this sauce for my pork and bell pepper stir fry! I used rice vodka a little bit because I don't have ginger. It was still great! Thanks for the reciepe. Really useful😀😀

I really liked Everyday Food when it was on TV and think it should be back on TV!! Sarah Carey, Lucinda Scala Quinn, et al. were great and it was very educational and inspirational in that it made you want to go to the kitchen and cook! That's the mark of a good cooking show. Food TV has degenerated into a kind of obscene food/game channel, food as contests and it's just absurd. It's increasingly hard to find the kind of terrific cooking/teaching shows like those that used to be on TV. There are still a few on PBS but even those are getting scarce. The online cooking bloggers are a mixed bag for quality, but Jenn Segal of "Once Upon a Chef" is excellent, and I'm sure there are others I'm not aware of. Sarah Carey, I think you're terrific and wish you had your own TV show! Thanks for all the great "inspiration" to head for the kitchen to cook.

Instead of using water use cooking wine better flavor.

So you dont velvet the chicken first? In other recipes, they marinate the chicken first with some combination of egg, soy sauce etc etc, and then they briefly cook chicken, set aside. Then they cook other ingredients before adding the chicken back in.

Those ,, You Tube Chefs " are soooo selfconfident , they use too much salt ( often ) ,some odd ingriedences , totaly UNNECECERY , they change OLD Classic into some strange , OWN dishes , BUT they keep old NAMES ! OK , everybody can do what He ,She wants but ,,Cesar Salad should be a Cesar Sallad , ,,Beef Wellington "the same , not a ,, PORK Tenderloin Wellington" spiced with ,,something " better , low Calories ! I hope you understand my point of vue? Anyway Tania ,Cheers !!!

I am not claiming that this is REAL Chinese food. This is not what i am trying to offer. I am trying to give people ideas for good tasting food, that is easy and fast, using supermarket ingredients. Sometimes i use "flavors of" Chinese, or Indian, or Thai...but would never claim to authenticity.
