4.543 billion years...that's how long Earth has existed...and I was lucky enough to be born in a time where I can hear this man sing. Incredible.
I was in the 3rd row at this concert...it was a magical night that I’ll cherish forever! I miss him so much! ❤️
I have NEVER been able to sing this song out loud without getting choked up......
I never want to meet the 57 people who gave this song a thumbs down. Rest In Peace Chris.
This rendition has pulled me out of some pretty dark fucking places the past 3 years... if only it could have done the same for him
They're not going to get a generation of Chris Cornells. This man transcends his heritage. It doesn't happen often.
I love all of you in this comment thread. We were blessed to have heard him.
Sometimes we never truly find what we are suppose to do in life. This man was born to sing.
I hate the fact we will never hear you live again. You have brought so much to so many. You will be missed. Rest In Peace my brother.
Okay but wtf. His voice DIDN'T have to sound that beautiful. Like Damn. I love this guy what the hell, why did God take this man...
In 2014 I was 18, hitchhiking through the US. I met a man called Joel in Moab, Utah, he was 54 and just divorced. He bought a new Ford Ranger or something and drove straight from San Francisco to the American heartland, I guess to find a piece of himself that he'd lost in the past decades of marriage and life.
Our young son had just got out of Iraq .had a rough time being home and we lost him .He used to play this and other of his songs of Chris .He told us before we lost him a lot of rock stars we are going to lose before our son passed away .it was a little after we lost Chris ,Prince and so many others .
Pearls of swine bereft of me
Chris bestowed sooooo many gifts upon us... this specific acoustic performance, epitomized why we loved him so deeply. You can hear the talent, but FEEL the pain. I hope you've found peace wherever you are.....

The emotion and passion he puts into this is just mind bogling. its a reall masterpiece of a song
Legends never die! May your highway stretch eternal, Chris! You're forever loved and forever missed!
Wow He improved a lot from 2005's concert, love both versions but this one has the real vocals, just impossible for any human to reproduce this. Such a wide vocal range!
A song that has million emotions, incomparable, inimitable, and a chord that touches us all in the deepest recess of our souls
We will never stop missing you, Chris.
