Ben More: Hiking it Wrong!

What's the first rule? Don't lose the path!
Whilst not a total disaster in the grand scheme of things, we totally destroyed our enjoyment and motivation for the this climb by taking a wrong path almost immediately upon starting, and then again about halfway up. It soured pretty much the entire trek, but wow those views from the top were something else, and really did lift the spirits!
Not every trip has to be a success, and this just proved it to us. We'll be taking extra care to plan and trace routes much more carefully in future!
We never want to see another boggy field in our lives!
