well done lads. We did the 2 at the start of march 2023. Great hills. The rules of ben more are, when you see the sign to Ben More, keep following the path up. When it levels out, you know you have reached the top haha.
😂 that sounds about right @chrisusher7097. I do like the fact of , when you’re done climbing, you’re done climbing. No false summits or anything! 😂 thanks again for watching. ATB.
Me and my brother did Ben More years ago coming from Denmark my first and so far only Munro what a great experience although being the rookies we were and very fond memories of this place and Scotland :)
Thanks for the great comment Christian. My… you didn’t shy away and only went and picked one of the biggest and steepest Munros! Well done! It’s a great Munro and one I’m sure I’ll get the opportunity to tackle again. Thanks for watching. ATB.
Think this must be the second time I've watched this, I felt the need to rewatch it as I'm doing these pair soon and it was good to familiarise myself with the challenge ahead.
Right decision to call it after the first Munro. Last week, we did 2 out of the 3 Beinn a'Ghlo Munros then turned back. Poor visibility and a snowy slope. Be back another day
It's always hard calling it off. Even when you know it's the right thing to do, it still stings! However, these are the challenges that we face and have to overcome as much as actually climbing a mountain. Well done on even having a crack at Beinn a'Ghlo. Not an easy hike that one! Thanks for watching. ATB.
@@mountainspeak390 no Beinn a Ghlo wasn't easy at all. The first one was a very steep climb especially! Carn Nan Gabhar is the one we didn't do. Looks like we'll have a 14 mile walk when we go back and do it sometime. Hopefully we'll actually get views next time
@@Munrobagger1976 There's always the option to take a bike! We did this recently and a bike would've been awesome for that HUUUUUUGE trek back to the car park! ua-cam.com/video/_xdxXdDnrIk/v-deo.html
Hi, it’s hard to say. The Cobbler is a longer hike but a far gentler slope. The angle of attack on this one is a lot more severe. Suppose you would just take more breaks as needed. There’s nothing overly technical on this hike but nav could be difficult in bad weather. Happy hiking! 🥾
Good video, great scenery, stay safe out there. cheers.
Thanks for the great comment @oswaldalexander253. Still one of my very favourite mountains. Thanks for watching. ATB.

@@mountainspeak390 this is true. Very nice hill and nice to see views as it was cloudy when we went 😕

Thank you for this because am climbing and spending the night there with a couple of people
Not a problem Innes! Good luck on you climb and I hope the camp goes well. There’s some amazing views up there! Enjoy 😉👍🏻⛰⛰🥾🥾

Nice one guys. Never a bad thing to call it if your not feeling it! All the best with the football team. D&L
Thanks for this. Very useful and great video.
Great video Steven, I did not know Chris ran a marathon so congratulations to him. 😀😀
Hi HR ben 14. Yip, 26+ miles! He’s a legend. ☺️
Brilliant video. I'm planning on climbing these to on Saturday. Gud luck with the challenge 🏔🏃
Thanks so much. These are brilliant Munros and if the weather's right you'll have a fantastic day! Good luck and stay safe! :)

@@mountainspeak390 yes a bike would be great for the long walks. Out of interest, how many munros have you bagged? 34 for me and counting
@@Munrobagger1976 still sub-100 but planning on passing that this year. Still a novice though! 😜
How hard is it? Coming from someone that just recently done the Cobbler
