All the comments talk about Gf’s design, which is fair but that’s sorta just how animation was back around the time mickey was born, but what I wanna talk about is how fucking epic mickey looks! Like seriously the health icon and sprites are so menacing and awesome, it’s amazing through and through down to the last pixel
I’m gonna be honest I don’t like how overly stretchy the animations are Don’t get me wrong, stretching is good, but it feels like it was stretched way too much to be pleasing to look at.
if it’d be for mods with these types of sprites, then i’d be pretty rich considering that probably a LOT of people like these ‘jiggle physic’ type of GF designs

I think the main reason some people believe the sprites are bad is because hold notes are fucked and there's a ton in this teaser. If you look at strictly the non-hold animations, these sprites are awesome.

I think reducing the number of hold notes (and maybe getting a better recording software) would benefit the mod's reputation greatly. Maybe you could create some sort of separate animation for the hold notes that doesn't jitter so much.
