@46:20 Vanquisher's Banner will only trigger once because the island was already in play and therefore wont get the ability to choose a creature type. The copy is an artifact that does nothing essentially. Ashlen should only have drawn one card.
Ruling as listed from The Myriad Pools: "Because the target permanent isn't entering the battlefield when it becomes a copy of a permanent spell, any "When [this permanent] enters the battlefield" or "[This permanent] enters the battlefield with" abilities of the copied spell won't apply for the target permanent."
ASHLEN on Pirates is why I made my first EDH Admiral Beckett Brass! I remember taking it to Magic fest in 2019 and being like the only pirate guy there!

First episode of Extra Turn that I've seen and I had no idea how impressive the editing was. It was a really great match to watch but that editing *really* helps to follow it!
That "Oh yarr" was funnier than it had any right to be, as was "Yeah, you have a monkey reprieve." Very fun game!

Rachel ate. When she pulled that Ashiok, and if it would have stayed enough time in the battlefield, it would have easily taken one player out.
Wait... Extra Turns is out before Duskmourn Game Knights?
Am I mistaken but shouldn’t the saga “One Ring to Rule Them All” supposed to be destroyed when it became a forest from the enchantment? I know that “Urza’s Saga” is destroyed when a “Spreading Seas” is enchanted on it.
The key difference is that Spreading Seas makes Urza's Saga lose its chapter abilities, but it's still a Saga (and thus one that has lore counters equal to or greater than its highest chapter, which becomes 0.) Song of the Dryads removes all _card_ types, so One Ring is no longer a Saga at all.
There's a slight difference in wording that is huge (because of the rules behind those words). I'm noting the relevant rules from the Comprehensive Rules in brackets if you want to look them up.
Song of the Dryads says "Enchanted permanent is a colorless Forest land".
Spreading Seas says "Enchanted land is an Island".
The big difference in question here is the word "land" (after "is" - there's no difference between "enchanted permanent" and "enchanted land"). That means that the permanent becomes a land, and thus it loses all other types [205.1a], such as creature or enchantment, because it doesn't say "in addition to its other types" [205.1b]. So the Saga is _just_ a land, and since it loses its enchantment type, it loses all subtypes associated to it [205.1a again], in this case Saga.
On the other hand, Spreading Seas only turns the land into an Island. This is granting it a basic land type, which makes it lose all land subtypes and all abilities [305.7]. However, this doesn't remove any other types or nonland subtypes, so the permanent is still an enchantment and a Saga. There's a state-based action that causes Sagas to be sacrificed when the number of lore counters they have is greater than or equal to their final chapter number [714.4, 704.5s], as long as there isn't a chapter ability for that Saga still on the stack (or about to be put on the stack). But the final chapter number for the Saga is determined by its chapter abilities [714.2d], and, since the Saga has lost all abilities, its final chapter number is zero. As the Saga-turned-Island will always have zero or more lore counters (because this is true of all objects in the game), it is sacrificed for this reason - note that it's key to this rule that the permanent is still a Saga.
So does that mean if someone were to flash out Spreading Seas on a creature land after it's been activated, it would be a Basic Land - Island Elemental until end of turn, in which case it would return to just being a Basic Land - Island?

Treachery is entering before the Spiritdancer enters (Rachel cast the March with the Spiritdancer still on the stack, and he responded by using the Mythmaker to put the Treachery onto the battlefield).

I'm new to MTG could someone clarify the interaction at 30:24 for me please? How comes treachery doesn't count as targeting the argothian enchantress? I thought aura spells or enchant spells are required to target something?
Totally fair question. Auras only target if they are on the stack (being cast). However, if an aura is just “put into play,” they never technically target anything and can therefore attach to permanents they wouldn’t normally be able to attach to.
I think its because aura cards only target when cast, so when it comes back from grave, it does not target and you can choose a creature to enchant. Its a bit of a weird situation. Would love if someone had the specific ruling!
Aura *spells* on the stack target. An aura that's being put onto the battlefield without being cast does not target, you just choose something legal to attach it to. Treachery is being put onto the battlefield without being cast, so they just choose a legal creature to attach it to (and since it's not targeting, they can choose to attach it to something with shroud).
While your question has already been answered, it is worth mentioning that this workaround does not avoid Protection from the aura. Those still remain illegal options to enchant.
@@snakeman830 I believe you’re both right and wrong. The aura should attach, but then state-based effects would check and see the enchanted permanent has protection and make the aura fall off. So if you had something that drew cards whenever an enchantment entered the battlefield, that would still trigger.

Incorrect. Blood Moon doesn't remove the Enchantment type or Saga subtype. The actual rule is that a saga with lore counters equal or greater than the number of chapter abilities it has and has no abilities on the stack is sacrificed as a state based action. Any non-saga permanent can have lore counters on it with no issue.
