Everyone in the theater SCREAMED and cheered and clapped every time the tiger was on screen. 10/10
I love how Emily keeps a straight face about this whole thing. She must know how... Special, this whole scene looks :'-) Emily seems really nice, not taking herself too seriously but still a professional.
19:30 The Life of Pi tiger had 40 artists and 120 animators working everyday for over 1 year. Just for that tiger alone.
This lady was working solo and only had 1 month. She honestly did great with what she had to work with.
Oh for sure. Character animation is incredibly difficult.
It doesn't look good, but nobody thinks that's her fault.
@@masterofallgoonsHe wanted it to look this way
I have seen the film & I can honestly say that the tiger scene was most likely the highlight of the film, along with the last 15 minutes or so.
But the tiger fight is definitely the scene that the film will be remembered the most for!
It really stands out 👍👍
Great stuff, thank you Emily! 🐅
I dunno. That dance scene is the most memorable moment for me.
I love the white tiger fighting scene. Without that green screen background, it wouldve looked even better. Still, a big thumbs up to all the work she's done.
I have done 3d myself and one of the most important things is that the animation suites the rest of the production style. You have achieved that brilliantly.
This episode contains spoilers? 😂😂😂 Can you spoil a Neil Breen movie? You can try to explain the whole plot but still not spoil the movie.
We did this essentially opening weekend and didn’t want the tiger-surprise to be too revealed! Lol
No surprise Breen hires his animators the same way in which he casts; the youngest woman that will accept😂
I appreciate her effort and professionalism and trying to work with Neil Breen
Epic interview. It’s awesome finally getting to hear from someone that’s worked with Breen 😂
If it results in more Neil Breen movies being made I will personally buy you a new computer to make that happen. You are a hero.
Neil likes having broken laptops to film with for sure.
Was that tiger animated?!!!??
ikr you can barely tell..
Neil has a BIZARRE obsession with tigers.
Weren't you listening? It's symbolism 😂
Nothing bizarre about liking Tigers. Tigers are freaking awesome.
White tigers make me think of Siegfried and Roy’s Las Vegas shows. Did Neil go to those and become interested in white tigers?
Emily’s work was amazing! Immediately immortalized by a massive contribution in the Breeniverse. Kudos to
Thank you so much for this interview! Emily's work was absolutely a hit at my screening as well. I hope she enjoys it when she gets to see it!
I knew Emily in Junior High and High School!!!!! She’s so fabulous!
Honestly for the budget, and now knowing the process, the tiger scene is legitimately good. Think about any cgi scene in a mainstream movie.
None are as long with one camera angle.
And personally, I love the "battle music", it's almost an homage to star trek TOS
Also the fact that it was essentially all green screen. That adds more difficulty into making the scene work.
She did well with what she had to work with (which wasn’t much) in such a limited timespan.
Have you seen CADE THE TORTURED CROSSING yet? Is Emily's work the best part?
The little behind the scenes information given from people who worked with Breen confirms that his process of film making is just what you would imagine.
No planning, no scripts, no organization, just a total mess. it seems he just makes everything up as he goes and doesn't give anyone anything to work with, or prepare before hand.
We were all shouting in joy and disbelief at this scene. I cried laughing. Thank you so much Emily!
Great interview, love any insight I can get into Breen's process. Congrats to Emily, whose work here will probably be more memorable and enduring than most Hollywood stuff these days.
So the flat image super-imposed on a green screen thing wasn't just a consequence of amateur design, he genuinely just wanted a pure white tiger. No depth, no blending, no shading, nothing.
I came here to make fun of her, im leaving with nothing but respect for her. Emily, you are my spirit tiger.
she did awesome work!
Can't find her instagram nor youtube. You guys should really link it in the description😅
This is so cool to watch an interview with someone who worked on a Neil Breen film. Apocalypse Howl, is that GBorBB tee shirt you're wearing?
I’m not sure what you mean, I think it’s based off of Double Down
@@opossum1296 It's a channel that reviews bad movies like Neil Breen's. I saw the host wear the same tee, they make their own tees and I thought that was one of them. You should check out the channel - GB or BB.
@@opossum1296 GB or BB is a channel that watches so bad it’s good, they wore that same tee and I thought it was their merchandise.
no joke i am inspired to do my own vanity project now.
It kind of looked like Breen was fighting a South Park tiger...it was exactly what I expected/needed out of the movie. It was one of the highlights of the film. The middle/end is so boring and awful. You should pretty much just turn it off after the tiger fight.
I saw the movie and this scene was very memorable. She did a good job with the tiger.
the tiger shirt makes it 😂
She’s a cutie
I just subscribed, i think this is missing in other channels.
I like the spoiler warning at the beginning of this video. I watched the entire movie and I still have no idea what happened.
Hearing what she said, it honestly seems like Neil is in on the joke.
this lady called breen a celebrity???
i think he would make me more nervous than most celebrities if i met him tbh
@@trashmoviekingshe seems like the sort to make most people nervous even if they've never heard of him
I don’t think much more expensive effects would improve the film
Now when she says things like “I was a fan…” 🤔
Why isn't anybody admitting that Breen's movies are the worst ever?
It is a philosophical question really.
Because there the best ever!
Arguably they are. It’s a matter of taste. I think that most people who’ve seen them would admit they’re really bad.
@@sutterkane5716 lol
Tiger was a copt of the RRR opening scene. That one was expensive CGI.
To each his own. This is not my universe.
lol... her best?
Neil is the same in real life?
"Hello, im Neil! Neil, I'm Neil. Hello!"
I CAN'T believe it's you. I can't believe it's you. It's you.
Spoilers are a moot point with Neil Breen films. They're so incoherent that plot points don't matter.
