Who would have guessed 35 plus years after writing this song they would still be performing it live at standard key
Bruce took care of his voice, which most singers don't.
The only other I can think of is bobby blitz from overkill

Man you know you've conquered the world when the ENTIRE audience is singing the lyrics such that I can barely hear Bruce. This is why the sun never sets on Maiden fans! I caught Maiden somewhere in time around the early nineties, ALL of you still got it! First to the Barrier, thank you for this amazing video!

Being a band that didn’t have a lot of substance abuse issues probably helped. They always treated it like a business more than a lot of bands from the era.

When I was in sixth grade back in 1986 my parents almost kicked me out of our home because I saved money and bought this tape! I was under the impression that they never performed this song for 37 years up untill now!!! What an amazing performance!
Bruce looks and sounds great again. I don't know what he's done lately but it's definitely working.
This is like the Somewhere in Time appreciation tour.

I’ve recently decided this is my favourite Maiden album . I admit I haven’t seen them live in the last few years ( I once did three nights at Hammersmith Odean and one at Wembley Arena on the 7th Son tour ) . Looking at this video: they literally haven’t changed, they are still the best . Up the Hammers, scream for me UA-cam

Thank you God for giving us the 20th Century - it was from then came the best musicians, artists, movie stars, and performers of ALL TIME. Sadly many are getting older now fast and will go on to leave us but they will never be forgotten.
They have gotten their place in history of music! Iron Maiden will live forever.

Man, this is the most exciting they have sounded in years! I almost want to get a flight out somewhere to catch one of these shows and I never thought I would have said that. I was sick of the same old same old and I love that they set this challenge for themselves. They have so many good tunes, no need to just do tours with the classics or obsess over new stuff. This tour just hits the mark on every level and these songs are huge on stage.
I am not even sure it's a challenge for them.
I like to cover all maiden albums on bass, and this is very difficult, if you don't practice them 3 times a week.
I am sure once they are up to speed physically after a break, they could play anything they recorded.
I think it's more a matter of business, and beeing afraid that people who just barely know the hits give bad critics.
I love somewhere in time the entire album just got it right the speed the guitar harmonies so many hooks and just well written.
I was not there, but I still got chills while watching this. Hopefully I can see them soon somewhere again! Up the fucking irons!

Steve is integrity personified, the pillar of the band. The bass rides and leads the other talents with discretion but not in a simple way. The serious, concentrated look that always delivers its best.
i went to watch at manchester in june, this is probably the best one they have done, this beats them all its was spectacular
All these years later, a few breaks in between and we have the exact same five guys from their eighties heyday still in together (plus the addition of Mr Gers)

F--k yeah Bruce, UP THE IRONS... This band has given their fans epic performances for over 40 damn years, and they still produce a top level performance like they were 25 again... let that sink in.
((For comparison, look at James Hetfield [whole band downtunes] or guys like Vince Neil - sounds like dying goat))
